Chapter 38: Bestfriends' Day. Yay!

"Enough of the hugs." He moved away from me habang hawak niya ko sa magkabilang balikat. He smiled again. And I can't help but smile back. Pinunasan ko yung mga luha ko at patuloy pa rin sa pagbuhos ang ulan.

"Alam mo, mas kaya ko na siguro lahat ng 'to ngayon na bumalik ka na." sabi ko sa kanya. Totoo naman. Tho life is worth living with Dominic by my side. Bakit pakiramdam ko, I'm betraying both of them right now. 

Bad Nick! Tss.

"He'll look for you..." I looked at him. Narinig ba niya yung sinasabi ng utak ko? "He'd better be looking for you. 'Coz if he doesn't show himself up for the next 24 hours..." Biglang lumakas ang buhos ng ulan at napansin din ni Erick kaya he grabbed me by the hand and we ran towards his car.

He opened the door for me. pumasok naman ako and he did the same sa driver's side.

"I think I should get you home..." sabi niya when we're both settled on our seats.

"NO!" Napatingin siya sa kin. He doesn't have any idea what's going on with my life. "Hindi mo ko iuuwi sa'min. Ayoko sa bahay na yun."

His eyes are still wondering. "If that's what you want."

"YES! FINALLY!!" His eyes are now shocked. 

"Nick. Anong problema mo talaga?" tanong niya.

"Wala. Napapasaya mo lang talaga ako ngayon." I said with a smile. Iniisip niya siguro na nababaliw na ako pero hindi niya sinabi sa'kin.

"Okay. So where are we heading now?" tanong niya.

"Mmmm... Ewan." San nga ba ko matutulog? Tss. Hindi ko alam na maglalayas pala ako. Kung alam ko lang eh di sana nakakupit ako. Hohoho. Kids! Don't try this at your parents pockets.

"SOGO?!" nakangiti siya ng pilyo nung itanong niya yan.

"Gag*!" 

Sabay kaming natawa pagkatapos. I'm laughing again. At ngayon, pakiramdam ko, isa akong normal na 18 years old na babae.

"Okay Erick. Just drive and we'll figure it out.."

He started driving and we both started thinking.  "Oh. Naalala ko na. My parents are out of town..."

"Walang tao sa bahay niyo?!" Okay. I sound waaaay too excited. Naalala ko lang kasi yung last time na kami lang yung tao sa bahay nila.

"Remembering that crazy day huh?!"

I looked at him and we're both smiling. "Yeah. crazy stuffs."

"Naaalala pa din ni mama yung ginawa mo sa 'kin nun."

"At tumatawa pa din siya?"

"Like it was the first time she heard the story."

"Alam mo, nagtataka ako. You never hated me for doing that to you."

He smiled and said.. "'Coz what you did to me makes two of the most important girl in my life happy up to this moment..."

He glanced at me... smiling.

"You're really a.. **choo!!**" Singhot. 

"You cold?" he asked.

"No. I'm hot and you know that." I smiled at him and.. "Acchooo!" *sniffs* I thought i'm done with the sniffing part.

He chuckles. "I know you're hot. Just change your clothes pagdating natin sa bahay."

"Wala na akong damit sa bahay niyo." angal ko.
