Chapter 22. Ex Factor

I woke up the next morning listening to my favorite song which was Tae's heart beat. He was lightly snorin but it was cute to me even though it woke me up. I snuggled up under him even more and he embraced me tighter as if it were a natural reaction. After layin there for about another 30 minutes failin at my attempt to go back to sleep I eased my way out of his grasp. When I was finally able to get free I put on some of his sweats since we were sleepin naked. As I walked to the kitchen to make him something to eat my ass was still sore from lastnight. I decided to show him that he wasnt the only one that had some skills when it came to cookin. What better way to start off your mornin than wit French toast, bacon, sausage, and eggs. Just when I was finishing up the food somebody was bangin on the door. After I got all the food off of the stove I went to open it to Pat and Marv standin there lookin crazy.

Yatta: Wussup yall?
Marv: Damn man we though Tae had snapped.
Pat: Hell yea when he left the court lastnight he was pissed, and he aint never call us.
Yatta: What did yall think happened?(i laughed)
Pat: Shit i thought we was gone have to help him hide the body.
Yatta: Thats fucked up Pat I thought I was yo lil bro.
Marv: U are our lil brother but shit we ride or die.(he laughed)
Pat: It look like somethin did get murdered lastnight though.(he said smilin lookin at all the rose petals)
Yatta: I dont know what u talkin about, but let me go put on a shirt.(I said leavin them in the livin room)

I went in the room to wake Tae up, and to put on a t-shirt.

Yatta: Bae wake up.(i said shakin him)
Tae: Hm...
Yatta: Wake up bae Marvin and Patrick here.(i laughed still shakin him)
Tae: Im up shawty im up.

When he finally leaned up to wiped the sleep from his eyes I went back into the kitchen to fix his plate. Little did I know Pat and Marv greedy ass had already helped them selves, and made them a plate.

Yatta: Damn did yall at least leave some crumbs?(i said lookin at all the empty pots)
Marv: My bad Yatta that shit was smellin too good though.
Pat: Hell yea I aint know u could cook lil dude.(he said stuffin his mouth)
Tae: Somethin smell good.(he said walkin in from the room in some shorts wit no shirt)
Yatta: U not the only one that seemed to think so.(i laughed)
Tae: Whats good yall?(he said dappin them up)
Pat: Shit u tell us birthday boy.
Marv: Yea nigga what happened to u callin us back about the club?
Tae: My bad I had got a lil busy lastnight.
Pat: A little.(he laughed)
Marv: What is all this shit bro? Rose petals and shit I knew yall was some freaks.
Tae: Dont worry about all that. Good mornin bae.(he said walkin up behind me as I was remakin our food)
Yatta: Mornin.(i said kissin him)
Marv: On the what!
Pat: My nigga finally got in them guts!(they laughed)
Tae: Aye shut up yall damn.(he said tryin not to laugh cuz of how I was lookin at him)
Marv: So wussup for today?
Pat: Thats what im sayin since u blew us off yesterday.
Yatta: Oh no he's all mine today.
Pat: Damn Yatta he cant come out and play?
Marv: Hold on how u puttin him on lock down aint u the one that was in trouble?
Yatta: Cuz I can do that aint that right bae.(i said sittin next to him and feedin him)
Tae: Yup.(he smiled)
Pat: Awww shit.
Marv: Damn bro he got u whipped somethin serious.(he laughed)
Tae: So what I got him the same way.
Yatta: Just a little bit.(i smiled)
Pat: Man yall make me sick sometimes.
Marv: Shut up Pat yo ass been bitter as hell ever since Larry.
Pat: Dont say that damn name.(he snapped)
Yatta: Who is Larry?
Tae: Thats Pat ex shawty that got caught cheatin a while back. Ever since then he been on a strike from love and shit.
Pat: I aint on strike I just dont trust these lil lyin ass niggas no more.
Yatta: Awww Pat u was in love?
Marv: Hell yea his ass was worse than yall.(he laughed)
Tae: It took us like 3 months to get him to stop bein depressed.
Pat: I wasnt depressed over that nigga!(he said twistin up his face)
Marv: Nigga yes u was.
Yatta: So why I aint never seen Larry do he go here?
Tae: Yea but he stay off campus though.
Pat: Anyway new subject what we doin today?
Yatta: Well I was gone take him out to eat, and then after that its whatever.
Pat: Perfect we hittin the club up tonight.
Marv: Nigga why u so bent on goin to the club?
Pat: Cuz I need a drink to deal wit yall niggas.(he laughed)

Just as they were gettin up to leave the door came open, and in walked Lora and Reggie. Lora seemed to be pretty happy for it to be so early in the mornin, but who am I to talk.

Lora: Uh oh somebody got some cutty lastnight!!(she laughed)
Reggie: Bae why u always fuckin wit people?(he laughed)
Lora: Cuz I can. Hey Marv..hey Pat.
Both: Wussup Lo.(They said huggin her then leaving)
Yatta: Hey Lora.
Lora: Hey yall guess what!(she said excited)
Yatta: Your engaged.(i smiled)
Tae: What!?
Lora: YES IM-...wait how did u know?
Yatta: I knew before u did.(i laughed)
Lora: Well why he tell u before me?
Reggie: Cuz he helped me plan out our night just like I helped him plan his. Thats what family do after all they help eachother out.
Lora: Oh so now yall family?
Yatta: Actually we are..Reggie is my cousin.

Both of their mouths dropped when they heard the news, and then came all the questions. After we explained to them how we found out, and got over the excitement of everything. Me and Tae started to get ready so we could go, but I still hadnt showed him all the stuff that I got him.

Tae: Damn shawty thats crazy I cant believe yall related.(he said puttin on his shirt)
Yatta: Imagine how I felt, but bae wait before u start gettin dressed.
Tae: Why wussup?

I went to my room and got all the bags from my closet that had his stuff in it. He looked at me for a second like I was crazy before he spoke.

Tae: Bae whats all this?
Yatta: Yo gifts that u gone take, and not tell me its too much.
Tae: Oh so u think u know me.
Yatta: I know I do.(i laughed)
Tae: Ooohh shit look at this fitted!
Yatta: U like it?(i asked concerned)
Tae: Hell yea this shit raw u picked this out shawty.
Yatta: Yup.(i said proudly)

After he went through all the rest of his stuff we had finally got dressed. We had all made our way to the mall first because he wanted to get me an outfit for tonight. He really just wanted to buy me somethin because of all the stuff that I had gotten him...He's such a typical guy. Once we got there he basically dragged me inside to a store tryna force me to pick out some cloths.

Tae: So what u want bae?
Yatta: Nothin I told u im koo.(i laughed)
Tae: We not leavin until u pick somethin out shawty.
Yatta: Bae I thought we got rid of that ego?
Tae: Its back for today, and u already knew I wasnt gone let u get me all that shit, and expect me not to get u nothin. I mean a seiko watch shawty damn I cant let u slide wit that one.
Yatta: But-
Lora: Boy would u just pick out a damn outfit hell im hungry.

Me and Reggie just laughed because he understood the stubborness that I have to deal wit on a regular. When I finally gave in and started lookin for an outfit he was talkin wit them about whatever. I didnt really pay attention until I noticed this dude walk up tryna hug him, but he pushed the guy away before he could. Although it didnt bother me that much I still couldn't help but wonder who the hell that boy was. Tae came walkin over to me wit that boy right behind him, and it looked like they were arguin.

Tae: Shawty u ready to go?
Yatta: Uh..yea. Whats wrong bae?
Tae: Nothin.
Nick: Damn so u cant even talk to me?
Tae: I told u I aint got shit to say nigga.(he snapped)
Nick: Why not..because of him!?(he said lookin at me)
Tae: It dont matter nigga I been done wit u so get that shit through yo head!
Yatta: Bae whats goin on?(i asked lookin confused)
Tae: This my ex Nick, but he dont seem to get the ex part.
Nick: Man fuck u then nigga!(he said walkin off)

I watched him storm off then looked at Tae shakin his head before I went further into detail about what just happened. Before I could even open my mouth he had already beat me to the punch.

Tae: Thats my ex from my freshman year of college. We had a bad break up it didnt involve cheatin or no shit like that, but we just wasnt seein eye to eye.
Yatta: So what was that about just now?
Tae: He still dont know how to get over the fact that im done wit his ass.
Yatta: Why I aint never seen or heard of him before until now?
Tae: Cuz he aint never been important enough to talk about.
Yatta: Mmhhmm. Dont make me have to beat that dude ass Tae.
Tae: Bae i'll pay u to do it.
Yatta: U so damn silly.(I laughed)
