Everybody Wants to be a Cat

8. Second Day of School

I got to school the next morning, sitting where we did yesterday. I pulled my phone out, quickly typing a message to Phil.

To: Phil <3
Are you here yet??

From: Phil <3
Yeah, Are you???

To:Phil <3
Yeah I'm sitting where we were yesterday.

From: Phil <3
Oh! I see you now :3

Phil walked over and sat down beside me. "Hi." He smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Hey. Where's Chris and Pj?"

"Um, I don't know. Probably making out in the car or something."

"O-Oh, wow.."

"Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they had sex in there too."

"In the school parking lot?!"

He laughed quietly, "They've done it in the school /bathroom/ before."

"Isn't that going against some sort of rule?"

"Yep, they got caught too. It was hilarious."

I laughed lightly, through my nose. "Seems like it was."

"Anyway, enough about Pj and Chris and them having sex. Did you talk to your parents about Disney World?"

"Yeah, they said they wanted to meet your family first, remember?"

"Oh, yeah."

"Are your parents like you? Like with the same opinions on..." I gestured towards my hat, talking about my ears.

"Yeah! I already told you, we don't buy anything that was made by treating them unfairly and we've actually donated money to those organizations that help eradicate farms."

"That's good.."

"Yeah, So how have you been liking school, being a teenager?"

"It's pretty cool, Art's boring though."

"I thought you liked Art.."

"Well, I do. But you're not there.."

He smiled brightly at me. "Aww, You're so cute."

I smiled back and leaned my head onto his shoulder. He put his arm around me and pulled me closer. "So, how nervous were you when you told me that you liked me?"

"Extremely! I was shaking so my borhter said it looked like I was vibrating!"

He chuckled and looked at me. "I bet.. you must really like me then."

I looked up at him, blushing and nodding.

He smiled down at me. "I really like you too."

We sat and talked until Chris and Pj walked over and sat down, both with equally messed up hair.

"Looks like you two had fun.."

"Shut up Phil.." Pj glared at him playfully while trying to fix his hair.

" We did though..It was awesome!"

"Chris, please don't talk about your sex life."

"It's only fair since you haven't told us you have a boyfriend!"

He laughed at Chris' enthusiasm. " I was going to tell you!" I smiled and nuzzled my face into his neck, making him giggle. "Danny! Be careful you'll knock your hat off!" He pulled my hat back down to the correct place on my head.

"So? You'll protect me."

"Of course I will. But I just figured you would want to keep it on."

I sat back up and looked at him. "Yeah.."

"Is that a different hat?"

"Yeah, I have like 20.."

"Wow, must be a really bad haircut.."

"Yep..."

"Anyway, enough about Dan's hat. How are we going to pay for Disney World?!"

"My parents would pay for my ticket if they let me go."

"Alright. So Dan's fee is covered. What about you two?"

"Um..I could pay for my own ticket."

"Me too."

"And I'm paying for mine and I'm sure Louise would find a way to pay for hers."

"What about Cat?" Chris looked at him, confused.

"Do you really think it would be a good idea to invite Cat?"

"...Good point. So we're not telling her?"

"Yep. Just us four and Louise."

"Good." I looked at Phil. "I don't like Cat."

"I know.."

"She's just too touchy and clingy."

"I know darling..she won't sit with us lunch today.."

"Good."

A/N: This chapter was kind of short too. Soz. I didn't really have any ideas for this one.

But Cat's a problem. She'll be worse a bit later (soz but I need angst)
