I felt myself waking up slowly. I didn't feel like opening my eyes. I felt Light still curled up in my arms. I started stroking her gently, still half asleep. After a while I noticed her moving and waking up. She stretched out her legs and hissed a bit. At that I pulled her closer to me, kissing her forehead. I hated that she was in pain. I felt like, I'd never actually seen her not being in pain. She always had something going on. Poor thing. Never got a break.

"I'm so sorry." I whispered.

"Stop." she said. I sighed and put my head on top of her's. I didn't plan on getting up. We still lacked sleep. And I didn't want Light to move too much. Those plans were crushed when a very slight knock was audible. I hummed for them to come in. Light attempted to lift her head, but groaned and let it sink back.

"Don't." I whispered, kissing her head. I looked back at the door and saw Party standing there looking at us, apologetic.

"I'm sorry if I woke you." he said, his voice on a low volume.

"We were awake. What's up?" I asked.

"We'd like to talk to you for a moment." he informed me.

"Okay..." I nodded. "I kissed Light's head again. "Rest some more." I whispered and got out of bed carefully. We walked out into the living room and sat down at the table, where Ghoul and Jet were already waiting. I sighed and put my face in my hands. "Alright. What's up?" I asked, resting my chin on my fist.

"How bad is she?" Jet asked.

"She's aching. The shocks cramp your muscles so unnaturally and violently that you feel it in every. Single. Muscle. Of your body. It'll take a few days for that pain to subside... I don't know how many bones they broke. She seems to be fine walking, so I'm guessing just her arm." I paused for a second. "As to the mental damage... I don't know. She has not shown a lot of emotions yet. At the moment she is just very tired. She should rest a few days. Eat something. Drink a lot." I thought about that again. "Yea... that's probably the best at the moment." They all looked slightly uncomfortable and worried.

"How bad are YOU?" Party asked after a short silence. I took a deep breath and went through my hair with my hand.

"Uh... bruises. Cuts. A few broken bones. Mostly fingers. They didn't shock me lately so... my muscles feel normal. Mentally? Fine... I think. I think I just have to process it a bit. Rest. I'm just really worried about Light." I sighed.

"We all are." Jet said, Ghoul nodded, while Party stared at his fingers.

"I hate to ask this, but..." Party started, still staring at his fingers. "How much did they... I mean... how much did they get out of you?" he asked, uncomfortable. Now it was my turn to stare at my hands.

I let them down. I spoke up.

I took a deep breath before I spoke.

"They know my full name and your first name." I looked at Party. "Then you crashed in and I was knocked out." I buried my face in my hands again. " I- I had to. I couldn't let them hurt her like that. You should have heard her screams. Her pleading. You should have seen her. I couldn't. I had to say something." I mumbled frantically."I'm sorry! I'm so sor-"

"It's okay." Party interrupted me. "We all would have spoken." he said. A long silence followed. "You know what that means..." Party sighed. I nodded.

"They'll find Mom and Dad." I whispered. "Don't tell Light. She blames all this on herself anyway. It would destroy her." I said. They all agreed to keep that a secret.

"Go get some more rest. Jet and I will go inform Dr. D of the situation. Ghoul will stay with you guys. Just in case." Party stood in front of me. Ghoul and Jet were outside.
