Extraordinary

They are stars
And they
Collide
Everyday
And every night
Their rib cages meant to keep love at bay
Crashing
Self destructing
Over and over again
In a circle that never ends.
To them isolation is the only way
And yet they're stuck together
Like magnets
The more they try to pull away
The harder the fall back
It's inevitable
And it's beautiful
And tragic
And they could never admit it
but they love it
It's deliciously impossible
And he's viciously addicted
While he lays next to her
Obsessing over her moon dust eyes
That look back into his piercing black ones
That carve daggers in her chest
And her fingers dig for a way into his flesh
As her hair settles on her back
It's a mess
They're a mess
Of heat and passion
Lost feelings that they could never wish to understand
Only a memory
In the back of their heads
It's quite extraordinary
But they are stars
And stars are meant to collide
Until they reach the fucking end of time

It's extraordinary
