Unfading Connection (complete)

I concentrated on finishing the work in front of me. I've been missing fun so I plan to have real party tonight.

I'm having so much fun. I can't remember the last time I am laughing this much over silly characters that I can't comprehend any words they are uttering all throughout the movie. Flashing on the screen is the Minions as per Marco's choice for the usual movie night. Maybe because I am enjoying watching it with my family. I am sitting beside Eli who cannot contain her laugh as I watch her fully engrossed on the screen. Marco is sitting again on the floor in between Eli and Anita.

I hurriedly drive a while ago to the mansion as soon as Marco called me over the phone.
"Anton you're late. We want to watch Minions now," he said in between breaths as I can picture how excited he is,"Eli baked some cupcakes. Hurry please."
I was a little late as I have to finished some of my work. I forgot it is Friday and it is movie night with Marco. He patiently waited for me as he got used already that I am not missing the movie night recently. I used to reason out before as Friday is my bar night. Now it is the other way around. I am reasoning out to my friends as I am not going out with them lately.
Now I am enjoying my favorite spot as I always sit beside Eli during movie night. I can feel the warmth of her body as I am only inches close to her. I am like a school boy sitting beside his crush and enjoying each brief touch I can steal.
My phone suddenly vibrates. I put it on silent while we are watching. Shit! I totally forgot about Diana. I ignored her call as I don't want to disturb the concentration of my family on the movie. I saw that I have a lot of messages coming from her. The first ones are sweet but I think she got pissed off now as the last messages are cursing me now. I just silently laugh. I better cut ties with this girl. She's annoying already.

I wake up early. I know Eli is off today and she will go home to her apartment. I want to have a ride with her. I will pretend that I have to do some work and I have to go back to the office. I have to catch her before she rides the train. As I open my door, I hear a commotion at the living room. I can hear two voices of women. One is definitely loud while the other one is softer but harsh. I met Marco and Martha rushing to go to Marco's room.
"What's happening Martha?"
"Anton, someone is looking for you and she's arguing with Eli." She look scared and so with Marco. I rushed my pace going down.

Oh shit it's Diana. How did she know that I am here in the mansion? And how did she know my address here.
"Ma'am please calm down, I will get Sir Anton for you." Eli is trying to control her temper.
"What the fuck? Who are you to mandate me? You're just a maid. I want to know where is his room. Bring me to his room." Diana shouted.
"Ma'am you are not enlisted to the guest we can just bring to our employers room. I hope you understand."
"Hey stupid girl, I told you I am his girlfriend."
"Excuse me?" Eli now flare up, "first of all I am not stupid. You are the one stupid. You are claiming to be his girlfriend when you can't even recognize who is his relative. That boy whom you talk harshly with that bad mouth of yours is his niece. And whether relative or not you don't have the right to pollute the mind of a young boy with your sexual innuendos."
Diana is about to hit Eli when I reach the room.
"Diana!" I shouted.
"Anton, baby," she run to me and hug me, "your stupid maids doesn't want to show me your room."
"What's happening?" Anita is now rushing in the receiving room after me.
I remove the clinging hands of Diana and step away from her."Please leave Diana. You are not my girlfriend and you do not have the right to treat people that way."
She flared up and hit my chest with her fist." You.......you....asshole. You told me you will see me last night. I waited and I even called and texted you. You did not reply. After what happened to us you just dump me. You're full of shit Anton. You and your stupid dick is full of shit!"
The security just came in time but Diana voluntarily went out.
"Anton this is too much already," Anita's eyes met mine and she's really angry. "I already told you before about your activities."
I saw Eli silently retreat going up. She is already dressed to go home. I must talk to her and explain.
"I'm very sorry, sis," I explain apologetically to Anita," I never thought she's that pushy. I haven't contacted her for a month now. She called me yesterday but I opted to join your company. I had been coming home here you know that. I stopped already those activities you are telling me. Saying yes to her yesterday is a stupid mistake. I am sorry."
Anita hug me and I hug her in return. "You know I love you very much Anton. I don't want to see you wasting your life with your stupid mistakes."
I hug her tighter and kiss her head. "I promise Anita I will not do it anymore. I'm very sorry."
I look at her face and wipe the tears forming in her eyes. "I promise, okay?"
"Come on lets go up and see Marco."
I want to see Eli too. Really I am worried of what Eli will think of me.  I think I can't handle the hate in her eyes. I think I am getting crazy here. Before I don't give a shit whatever a girl thinks about me. She's affecting me too much.

We headed Marco's room and I see Eli ready to depart. She's avoiding my eyes. Martha smiled assuring everything is alright before she left the room.
"I have to go." Eli said without looking at me. I know she has to catch the train.
"See you Sunday night, Eli." Anita smiled and she nods. I felt relieved that she agreed to come back.
"Bye!" She hug Marco as he kissed him. Somehow I envy the attention Marco is having from her and definitely she was able to catch his heart.
She hurriedly walk pass me.
"Umm.....Anita I will also go to the office. I left some work there when Marco called last night," me and my lame excuse, "maybe I can bring Eli with me. She might not catch the train."
"Ok, Anton." Anita and Marco hug and kiss me.
"We love you." They tell me in unison.
"And I love you both!" I wave and rushed outside to catch Eli.
