As Drake and I walk into Rebecca's hospital room, my heart races with my thoughts. I guess my heart won because I feel like I am about to pass out.
I immediately sit in the chair right next to the bed and put my head near Rebecca's arm.
"I'm here sweetie, don't worry. You're going to be fine, I promise." I whisper into Rebecca's ear hoping she can hear me. Drake sits in the chair next to mine and puts his arm around me.
Then I can sense something.
He is Rebecca's little brother...
I decide to not tell him that I know their secret.
3 hours later...
Drake had to go 2 hours ago as he had to do work. He told me he felt guilty but I said its ok, he's an Alpha. He needs to do his work or the pack will go against him, Rebecca and I. They may even turn on the Delta.
Then I saw the most amazing thing. I saw my mate's eyes flicker open.
