"Sabi ko na nga ba hindi mo 'ko matitiis eh!" - I brightened up and side hugged her.
"Oo na. Oo na. Ang cute mo kasi eh!" - tumawa siya.
"ATTENTION STUDENTS OF MATZU SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL: Today will be our annual exchange student program with our neighboring school, CoVino University. As most of you know this is to strengthen the bond between the two schools and celebrate the day our two principals formed a pact. One student from each school would have the privilege to study in the other for a whole quarter. Which would be 2 months. The participating students will be hand-picked by each principals. And whoever may be picked, we expect each and everyone of you to cooperate and welcome the student with hospitality. The final announcements would be posted in the school's bulletin board after lunch."
And here we go again!
Honestly, I don't get why kailangan pa namin 'to every year. Its just a waste of time.
"Hmm sino kaya ang makakasama natin this year? Oh how I wish na isang pogi na lalaki ang mapipili ni sir!" - sabi ni Jaycee.
"Huy! tumigil ka nga! puro lalaki lang yang iniisip mo!" - sabi ko.
"Ehhhh bakit? hindi naman masama ang mangarap ah! Malay mo, baka ma-meet natin si mr. right." - she defended.
"Psh. As if. Tara na nga! Baka ma late tayo sa first subject natin." - hinila ko siya patungo sa classroom namin.
After morning classes were done, pumunta kami ni Jaycee sa cafeteria.
Nakita namin si Aito na naka-upo sa isang table at nag-wewave sa amin.
We bought our lunches and sat with Aito.
"So guys, I heard na may exchange student program..." - Aito
"Oo nga pala bago ka dito kaya di mo alam ang tungkol dun. Ahm... well, its not much to make a fuss out of pero its kind of an annual thing so hindi siya maiiwasan." - Jaycee
They continued on their conversation while I blocked the rest of their gibberish.
I turned my attention to my food.
Is it just me or do I see little Kieths on my plate?
I shook my head and stared back at my plate. This time close-up pa.
Phew. Nawala na sila.
"Huy! Myrah! Okay ka lang?" - Jaycee snapped her fingers in front of my face.
"A-Ah?" - was all that I could say.
Aito laughed at my reaction and Jaycee just shook her head.
"Well, anyway I was saying that --- " - Jaycee began talking again and my mind cut off her words.
I was pretending that I was listening to her pero bakit habang tinititigan ko siya ay parang nagmomorf ang face niya?
Hmmm.... why does Kieth sound like my bestfriend?
Wait, WHAT?!
I slapped my face and pinched my cheek.
