Part 3

[A/N: I am changing her name from 'Jessalyn' to 'Britta' But I don't wanna go back through the chapters and fix them all. So Jessalyn is now Britta.]

Britta Pov:

Message From: Weston🙊
You ready? Come over to my house if so.

Message To: Weston🙊
Coming

"Mom can I please go hang with some kids from the block?" I ask my mom who is rinsing fruit.

"Sure. Just be home by 7:00 at the latest."

It was 12:00 pm.

"Thank you so much."

I walk to Weston's and see Mario and a girl, who I assume to be Vanessa, with.

"Hey Britta." Mario says turning to me.

He was so adorable.

"Hey." Weston said after.

He was so cute.

"Hello. I'm Vanessa." The girl says looking up from her phone.

"Hey." I say putting my phone in my back pocket.

"So where we going?" I ask while walking over to Weston.

"The carnivals in town?" Weston says.

"Yes! That would be awesome." Mario says and we laugh.

"Alright, let's walk." Weston says starting to walk.

*At Carnival*

"What ride should we go on?" Vanessa asks.

"Hmm, this one!" I say stepping in line.

The others follow. We get on the ride and laugh and go on many more after.

"Guys I need to be home by 7:00 and it's 6:25, plus it's a 10 minute walk back." I say taking a seat on a bench.

"Ok, let's go on one more ride then." Mario says.

"We haven't went on the Farris wheel yet." Weston says.

We all step in line, planning to get one cart. Two on one side, two on the other.

As we were about to step on, Mario and Vanessa ran off. Weston and I didn't notice until we were already in the cart.

"Where are they going!?" I say as the wheel starts moving.

"I have no clue." He says looking down at the ground below us.

"So how do you like it in North Carolina?" He asks looking at me.

"It's ok. The people are really nice." I say smiling.

He laughs and we sit back and sit in silence on the ride.

But a good silence. When the ride began coming to a stop he smiled and kissed my cheek.

It stops and we get off and see Mario and Vanessa at a food stand.

We catch up to them, "where did you guys go?" I ask.

"Places." They both say and laugh.

I look at them confused.

6:40 pm

"Guys we need to get going." I say putting my phone back in my pocket.

They nod and we start our walk back home.

When we arrive to our street, Mario and Vanessa each go to their house while Weston walks with me to mine.

"Britta?" He says while we step on to my porch.

"Yeah?"

"We, um. We planned for Mario and Vanessa to leave before we got on the Ferris wheel."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I wanted to get to spend some time with you. And I really liked it. Thanks for a fun night."

"You too." I say smiling.

We hug and Weston then walks over to his house.

I walk in the house with a smile and go to my room.

My phone dings.

New message from: Unknown
Hey it's Vanessa. Did you and Weston kiss?

To: Vanessa
No, it's way to early for that. But he did tell me you guys planned to leave.

From: Vanessa
Ok, just wondering ;)

I laugh at her text and plug my phone in.
