So I was on this website with a whole bunch of random Beatles facts (yes this is what I do with my life) and one of the facts was that Dizzy Miss Lizzy was the Beatles' last cover of a song issued on one of their albums. Someone then commented that Maggie Mae was a cover as well. That got me thinking- Maggie Mae technically isn't a Beatles song, but then who did write it? I've never actually thought of that song as a cover...
So I guess Maggie Mae is considered a cover then. A cover is when an artist releases a song that someone else wrote and put together and stuff, and well the Beatles didn't write Maggie Mae, so someone else must have, or else it wouldn't exist as a song!
