(8) The Dejecting Truth

"Young Miss! Please be careful!" Hana held me as I was about to miss my step, 

"Huh?! Ah! I'm Sorry Hana-San."

"Are you all right, Young Miss?" 

"Uhh Yeah! I let a fake chuckle and turned back to walk to the main door, as I was getting set for hospital and Seijuro was waiting for me.

"I-I'm Sorry Seijuro, you had to wait," I said in apologizing tone,

"Let's go," he said in his usual tone,

Akashi left Nozumi to the hospital and went on his way, Nozumi was deep in her thoughts until she snapped out of it when she collided with a familiar one,

"Oii, Nozumi. Watch where you go, Nanodayo!" 

"Uh- Oh! Sorry, Shintaro I was just thinking about something, so... hehe.."

"Be careful." 

"So your shift is over?" 

"Yeah, I'm heading home now. See you!" 

"Yeah, See you Shintaro!" I smiled cheerfully.

*TIME SKIP - BACK FROM WORK*

"Welcome, Young Miss!" 

"I'm Home! Hana-San, Is Seijuro back? I saw his car at the entrance.."

"Yes, Young Master came back a while ago." 

"Oh! I see... I will prepare tea for him." 

"All right, Young Miss."

After few intervals, the door bell rang. Akashi was in the Main Hall and Nozumi was in the kitchen when they heard the bell ring.

"Is Akashi at home?" 

"Oh! Master-Midorima, It's has been so long! Welcome!"

"Thank you.."

"I'll inform Young-Mas-"

"Midorima, huh?" Akashi came out of nowhere and said,

"Akashi. I have something important to talk." 

"Hana-San, Who is it?" Nozumi came walking from the kitchen and curiously asked,

"I heard some voices- HUH?! Shintaro!?"

"Nozumi.." 

"Wow, what a surprise! Shintaro! Wait I'll bring you tea!!" Nozumi clinched to Shintaro and Akashi didn't seem too pleased about it. Nozumi ran to the kitchen and the two men sat on the sofa in the main hall,

"Midorima, What is it?" 

"May I know the reason you married Nozumi?" 

"You know that, don't you?"
