Daddy's Surprise

I woke up with cold sweats "NIALL!" I screamed, I looked over to his side of the bed but of course he wasn't there. 6 months he'd been gone, 6 months I hadn't had my husband to hold me, love me, tell me im beautiful. And 6 months our daughter has been without her father. Its crazy how much you don't realise you'll miss someone until theyre gone. I heard crying coming from the next room "crap!" I whispered I woke up Lilly. I pulled myself out of bed and walked down the hall to her room. "hey little girl, sorry mommy woke you up she was just having a bad dream" "shhh its okay baby girl" I cooed at her as I rocked her in my arms. She has just turned 3 and I could tell she missed Niall almost as much as I did. "you miss daddy don't you little girl?" I asked as if I would get a reply "I know you do" I said pulling her tighter into my chest. After I calmed her down she slowly drifted back off to sleep and I quietly set her back in her crib and tip toed back down the hall to my I mean our room. I sat back down on the bed thinking about the nights we spent on it, cuddling, kissing, making love. Now he was off living his dream leaving lilly and I to wait for his return. At that moment I was flooded with emotion I just started crying. It wasn't that I felt any less love toward my husband. I loved him with all my heart, but this time apart has really been hard. All I knew is that I had to hear his voice. I dialled the number I knew all too well and tried to clear my throught so he wouldn't hear the pain in my voice. "hello" I heard from the other end, he sounded half asleep I suddenly regretted calling so late."Hi baby did I wake you?" I asked my voice cracking, shit. He instantly knew something was wrong "babe whats wrong are you ok? Is lilly ok?" he said completely alert and worried "no no" " I mean yes were both ok we just miss you so much Ni, you have no idea how fast Lilly is growing I wish you were here" I heard a long exhale on the other end, I wasn't sure if it was a sigh of relief or sadness "I miss you too honey, both of you dearly and don't you worry ill be home before you know it!" he assured me "I know ni I know, where are you right now baby? and okay ill give you a call tomorrow when I can, Ill let you get back to sleep you sound exhausted" " the boys and I are heading to LA now and okay baby I love you and lilly more then you know ok? don't forget that! And daddy will be home soon! Give Lilly a big kiss for me and tell her daddy loves her" "I will honey I love you so much" *click* and with that he was gone again and I was left alone in our bed. that's it I thought, I cant go another day without seeing him and I cant let lilly go another minute without her father. I pulled my laptop and opened the airline website, and bought 2 round tickets to LA. Ill see you soon Niall I whispered as I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up the next morning and was completely ready for the days events. I was up by 6 and got lillys and my bag packed in an hour flat. I got lilly up and dressed her in her nicest dress and put her long blonde hair into a cute little ballerina bun she was so beautiful I couldn't wait for her Niall to see how much shes grown I on the other hand slipped on my favorite pair of black skinny jeans, a simple white tank top and my favourite cardigan Niall loved it when I dressed casual. He was never really into formal wear, which is one my favourite things about him. I never felt like I had to wear layers of makeup or six inch heels to impress him. As soon as we were dressed and I got some food into Lilly we were out the door to catch out 12:30 flight. When we got off the plane at LAX, saying it was hectic would be a complete understatement. It was complete chaos, I guess someone tipped off to the press and to the at least 30 teenage girls that were waiting at the gate when we came down the terminal that we were coming. They weren't even looking for us, I bet they thought the boys would be flying to LA not driving. So they were slightly disappointed when it was only Lilly and I that came off the plane. When they realised that the boys weren't there the crowd started to disperse Lilly and I made our way outside rent a car to go to finally see Ni, my stomach had been doing flips all morning I was so excited. I texted Paul and told him that we had landed and we were on our way to the venue "great see you soon y/n, I cant wait to see Nialls face when he see's you and the little one" when we got to the venue it was surrounded by girls so going by prior knowledge and some advice from Paul I entered through the car park which is where Paul met us. I pulled up and he was standing right by the entrance looking as intimidating as ever but as soon as I stepped out of the car and lifted Lilly out of her car seat Pauls face turned from a stern stare to the biggest smile I had ever seen on him. I put Lilly down and she wobbled her way over to him and he picked her up and held her tightly in his arms "oh my goodness little girl you've grown so much iv missed you! I may have to stop calling you little girl soon eh?" Lilly even giggled at that one. I unloaded our bag and made my way over to Paul "hey Paul iv missed you big guy" I said as I leaned into one of pauls famous bear hugs! "ok you girls ready to see daddy?" Paul said looking primarily at Lilly. She squirmed in my arms at the sound of his name "DADDY" she yelled! "ill take that as a yes" paul laughed and led us to the elevator and up to the main floor. When we reached the main floor of the venue were greeted with what sounded like Louis screaming down the hall on a segway. Seems like nothing has changed here. "Y/N, LILLY" Louis screamed when he saw us "I cant believe you two are here! Niall is going to be so excited! Have you seen him yet? He talks non stop abo-" "louis calm down" I said laughing to myself " we just got here do you know where Niall is? We cant wait to see him" I said squeezing Lilly in my arms. "of course I know where the leprechaun" he laughed "hes warming up right now, come on follow me ladies ill be your guide" we followed him down many hallways past about 15 doors until we reached the stadium where we entered close to the back. As I walked up I heard that laugh I knew at too well beckoning through the empty arena. Then I saw him, he was being a complete goof as usual jumping around the stage as the rest of the boys (aside from Louis) where trying to do sound check. I had been waiting so long for this moment but I didn't even know what to say. I was racking my brain for the perfect words when I heard Lilly yell "DADDY" and with that Niall spun around looking straight at us I put Lilly down and she bolted toward the stage going as fast as her little legs would take her. I followed her. Niall had the biggest smile on his face when he jumped off the stage and ran to Lilly scooping her up and giving her so many kisses I almost felt jealous "my little girl is so grown up! Daddy has missed you so much" he cooed holding her tightly in his arms "im sorry daddys been gone so long please forgive me" "I think we can forgive you" I joked walking up to them "hey baby" he said pulling me into him and Lilly kissing me as hard as he could "iv missed you so much you have no idea" "I think I have an idea" I said kissing him back even harder. Breaking our kiss Niall yelled "HEY BOYS THE GIRLS ARE HERE" the rest of the guys jumped off the stage and made there way over to us "Hi y/n its so nice to see you" Harry said giving me a huge hug. The rest of the boys greeted me the same way. Niall put Lilly down and she made her way over to Harry who scooped her up and started cuddling her "so this Is the little rascal weve been hearing so much about" harry jokes toward Niall "she looks so much like her mother-thank god" "ok you can shut up now" Niall said walking up behind me wrapping his hands around my waist and kissing me on the cheek. "Im just happy my family is finally here"
