"Ugh Rae we've been out here for hours! Can we make a rest stop?" Ella cried exhaustedly, mopping at sweat on her forehead. I was getting ready to stop for the night. The sky was darkening, and thevlong winding forest paths seemed to get us nowhere. Duncan hasn't said anything the whole walk. I sigh. "Lets stop for today." I announce. We all sink down to the ground. The humid air surrounds us. I wonder how long this will go on. I turn to face Duncan and Ella when i brighten and realize something. "Duncan, you know where the city is don't you?" I ask him with a bit of hope. Duncan chuckles. "Yeah, sure i do! Its in the land of far, far, far, far,far,far, FAR away." Duncan grumbles. I paint on a fake smile. "Great! Lucky us! At least we aren't being chased by the Fangs anymore." At least- not yet.
