At a certain hospital much later in the day, two officers in the navy blue uniform of the local police force stood by Juniper's side.
One of them, Lieutenant Kristoff, was tall man with a broad build and copper hair. He nodded his head and occasionally jotted down some of what Juniper said, particularly the bits of information involving her actual kidnapping.
This time, since the memories had begun to surface again, Junier recalled them in more detail, including the logo of a certain bankrupted pharmaceutical manufacturer which had marked the warehouses; it had been a piece of information that seemed to please the cops.
"And you say this Charles Greyford has several other people kept in cages to be used as subjects?"
