Jasper POV

"HE WHAT!" I screamed at me best friend, making her cover her ears and shut her eyes tightly. 

Hello, my name is Jasper Smith, and I'm a demigod.I have black curly hair and brown eyes, and by the way, I'm a complete and total fangirl. I happen to be a daughter of Aphrodite, but I'll let you in on a little secret of mine. Well, it's not a secret, but you get the idea. When I was younger, I ate grass! No, that's not the secret, but I did do that. Why don't we just get on with it, head?

Anyways, my real secret is that I was blessed by Athene when I was a kid, and that I'm a legacy of Hecate. Not everyday you find one of those demigods.

But then again, you never really find demigods like Percy or Annabeth.

They had both been threw so much, it was almost impossible to describe. Annabeth lost her best friend at a young age,  suffered a terrible childhood, and had to leave home at a very young age. Percy too had come to Camp Half-Blood at a young age, and in order to enter the camp, had to kill the minotaur, with basically no help. He did in fact succeed and he didn't even know demigods existed. Then his mom got kidnapped and he found out he was the part of the first Great Prophecy. He went into battle against Kronos (Cronus), won, blew up a mountain, blah blah blah. Even after that, he went missing for months and lost his memory and he only remembered Annabeth. Annabeth was devastated, searched for him for as long as she could, then found him, then found out they were a part of another Great Prophecy, fell into Tartarus, you get the idea.  . . . 

I haven't had too much action as a demigod except for the whole blessed, legacy thing, but this, this is probably the most exciting thing that has come my way in a long time. Get this. . . PERCY ASKED ANNABETH OUT! 

"This is literally the most exciting thing EVER!" I shouted while jumping in circles around her. "OK, we have to get you a dress, and then I'll have to speak to Percy about where the date will be held so I'll know how to do your hair, and then-"

"Woah, slow down Jasper. I already know where the date is, he's taking me to a new restaurant by his house," Annabeth explained.

"Formal or casual?" I asked as I tried to learn more information.

"Semi-formal. Now let's stop talking about this because he's coming over and I don't want him hearing you screaming Percabeth," 

I smiled and quietly screamed in my head as Percy walked over and kissed Annabeth before taking her hand and leading her away.

The next day's morning was pretty normal. I woke up, did my mourning routine stuff, and went outside to practice. Without a doubt, I was almost always thinking about Percabeth's date tonight, except for those times during the day when I almost got killed climbing the lava wall. But that's not important. I had a little time before I had to go to my next lesson (which was sword fighting) so I decided that I would find Percy and asked him a little more about the date since Annabeth wasn't very keen on telling me. I found him in the stables next to Blackjack who was eating some sugar cubes from Percy's hand. 

"Hey Perce, can I talk to you?" I asked him as I approached. 

He sighed as he turned to face me. "I knew this was coming," he breathed.
