Hi! This story was requested by @iPercabethForever so I hope you like it!

I don't own any characters in this book.

Lily POV

Hi, my name is Lily Perez. I have short black hair and sky blue eyes, so I'd say I'm a little attractive. I NOT the jealous type, but I love to help people. That's basically all I can come up with.

In my school, Dog Food, I have a close group of friends. This 'group' consists of three people; Kaitlin, Kaitlin's brother, Drake, and my personal favorite, Percy Jackson.

I admit, I used to have a major crush on Drake, but ever since Percy joined this school, it died down a bit. A LOT.

And, I mean, they do kind of look alike. They both have black hair on their heads, though Drake's is a lot more tame. Also, Percy has green, well, at least thats the gist of it, while Drake has blue eyes. And yes, I do like Percy, Come on, who wouldn't?

He's the perfect mix between an athlete and a sweetheart, and I don't blame anything on all of the other girls who either love him or are going to be in a couple of weeks. But, hopefully, since I'm one of his closest friends, I'll have a better chance at him.

This Saturday, we, meaning our little gang, would be going to our favorite place to get drinks... the PJHOO cafe!

They had the best coffee ever. And it didn't even taste like coffee. I mean it did, but they made it sweeter so it tastes like tea but still has the coffee in it. Plus there's a bonus; Best lemon squares EVA! We always got free drinks, because Percy said he knew the owner. We had only met them once before, but Percy said he knew them from camp.

Ah, the famous camp. Every year, at the beginning of school, Percy would come back to school, with a deeper feeling in his eyes. He had a few more scrapes on scars, but hey were so hidden that only the three closest to him could really make out. Every 364 days, we got more and more worried about him. A few times, he came back so scraped that we begged him to take us to this camp, so we could see what this was really about. But every time, he said no. Apparently, you need to speak and write Greek fluently, have ADHD and dyslexia to get in. And Percy was the only person in out school that fit the description.

Back to the point. So, on Saturday, we would go to PJHOO cafe and sit at our usual table. Then we would chat and blah blah blah. Later, Kaitlin and Drake would leave saying that their mom wanted them home, leaving Percy and I there for at least a little while. Then I would tell him about my feelings and ask him out. Let's just hope it's that simple.

I was now on my way to the cafe. I was wearing simple blue jeans and a loose white tank top. I finished the casual look of with adding a headband and a necklace. I hope Percy likes it. Not that I care, or anything.

I walked inside the cafe and scanned around, hoping to find my friends. Their they were, Percy and Drake laughing at something, with Kaitlin sitting there with her head in her hands, groaning at the boys' s stupidness. I smiled to myself and walked up to them sliding in next to Kaitlin. 5 minuets later, we were both banging our heads on the table while the two hooligans started crying from laughing so hard. Suddenly Kaitlin's head shot up and stated at me, with a mishevious smirk in her eyes. I knew that look. I slightly nodded me head and we both began to fake cry.

"No, don't look at them Drake, there going to hypnotize you," said Percy

"Falling...under...their...spell," replied Drake, trying to avert his eyes. Not long after both boys looked at us and gave us each 20 dollar bills.

"Score!"

Suddenly the door opened. In walked a beautiful girl. She had long, flowing blond hair and piercing grey eyes that seemed to judge wether you were a friend or a foe, the minute you looked into them. She was wearing a short-sleeved orange Tee Shirt and skinny jean shorts. She had the same kind of necklace that Percy always wore, except it had more beads by first glance.

She looked over to where we were sitting and her eyes lit up.

So did Percy's.

"Wise girl?" he asked. What kind of name was that?

"Nope, it's Hera, the queen of cows," she replied. The sky boomed. She muttered something under her breath, it kinda sounding like, 'Gods, no need to get your whiskers in a twist," Then she started walking towards us.

Drake, sensing that she might want to sit next to Percy, left the side next to Percy and scooted in near us. The girl shot him a thankful smile and scooted in next to Percy. My hopes of them just being really close friends was washed away when she kissed him. When they pulled apart Percy turned towards us. "Guys, this is Annabeth. Annabeth, this is Drake, Kaitlin and Lily," She wave to us. Suddenly I was hit by lightning. Not actual lighting but you know.

Annabeth was the girlfriend that Percy always talked about. Everyone in the school thought he was making it up to let girls down easily, but I guess we were all wrong! But how could I not see it before?! She matched the description perfectly!

But just to be cautious, I decided to get a little background information. They might only have been together for a couple of weeks, anyway.

"So how long have you to known each other," I said, starting off the interrogation.

"We've know each other for seven, but have been dating for four," replied Annabeth, in a sincere tone. It was almost like she knew I had a crush on him.

"Where did you two meet?"

"Camp," replied Percy.

The net few moments were silent, until Drake broke the silence, taking to Annabeth about school and stuff.

"Percy can I talk yo you?" I whisper asked Percy.

"Sure," He and I stood up and walked to a corner of a room.

"I'm sorry," I said

He was confused. "Sorry for what?"

"I have a crush on you Percy, I might even be in love. And I was planning on confessing to you today and asking you out, but I didn't listen to you when you said you had a girlfriend, and I'm sorry I didn't realize, and-"

"It's OK," he said. "You didn't know, and I don't blame you for not believing. I guess I do make her seem like a goddess sometimes," he chuckled. " I love her with all of my heart, and can't find one flaw about her," he answered absently, starting across the room at Annabeth, who was still chatting with Drake.

They really were true love. Even though I had only been with them for a short amount of time, I knew that they were, They watt that they looked at each other, and talked about each other was all the proof that I needed. Percy wasn't the one for me.

"But I'll let you know a little secret," Percy whispered."Drake,"

And it all came crashing down. I remembered the way I used to feel about him. They way sparks would shoot up my arm whenever he touched me, they way he always looked into my eyes when he spoke to me.

"Thank you," I breathed. I hugged Percy again and ran back to our table. I grabbed Drakes arm and raced out the door, trailing a very confused Drake behind me. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Percy and Annabeth and Kaitlin smiling at me.

So I ran to my happily ever after.

The End.
