"We stay with her until she's better and then get her back to her people." I heard as I gained consciousness again.

"You're right. We get her fixed up until she's able to walk again and then let her go. She can't stay with us." Party Poison said. I recognized his voice. I couldn't put a name to the first one though. The others hummed in agreement.

My people? I don't have people. Not anymore. Asilent tear ran down my face and I pulled a grimace.

"Lightning Strike..." a voice that was very close to me said. Again I couldn't put a name to it. "Guys, I think she's waking up." he called. I groaned slightly as I tried to move.

"Try to stay as still as possible. Only move when it's necessary." the voice said again. I opened my eyes and looked at the man, who's name I didn't know. It was the one with the blonde hair. It's either Ghoul or Kobra, I remembered that, but I didn't know which one it was. He looked at me with a worried expression.

"She's crying. I think the pain is too intense." he said to the approaching Party Poison.

"No..." I croaked. "It's fine." I gave them a half smile.

"We have nothing for the pain..." Party Poison's face was apologetic.

"Where am I?" I asked, my voice raspy. "How long was I out?"

"Gas station. We had to get you somewhere to clean your wounds and stuff and this was the first place we could find." he said, looking around slightly "You were out for about a day. How are you feeling?" he asked.

"I... I'm dizzy." I said.

"Yea, you need to drink something. Kobra can you get her water?" Party Poison asked the blonde man. So, he's Kobra.

"Sure." he nodded slightly.

"Okay, let's see. You need to sit up." Party Poison said.

"Haha. Funny." I said.

"For you being shot four times your sarcasm level is high." Party Poison laughed.

"Always." I giggled slightly.

"Alright. Now... I'll help you sit up. Tell me if it's too much." he looked at me. I nodded and hummed in agreement. He put one hand under my left shoulder and one on my back and slowly helped me up. I held my breath and felt the tears form in my eyes. I slowly slid my legs down the table I had been laying on until I was in an upright sitting position.

"Jesus Christ." I gasped, gripping the edge of the table. Party Poison stroked my back slightly until my breathing went normal again.

"Here you go." Kobra gave me a bottle of water.

"Thank you." I nodded. I looked at the bottle for a second, then at my right hand and back at the bottle.

"What?" Kobra asked, confused.

"Could you open it for me?" I asked, embarrassed. I nodded my head in the direction of my right hand which was lying on my lap. Moving my arm was really painful and even if I was able to move it, I couldn't put up the strength to either hold or open the bottle.

"Oh, of course. I'm sorry." Kobra chuckled slightly and I joined him. Instead of taking the bottle out of my hand he put his' on top of mine and screwed the bottle open with his other hand. I blushed at the touch.

"Thank you." I looked at him, probably still blushing. He just smiled. The moment the water hit my lips and tongue I moaned out slightly and my eyes fluttered close. I didn't realize how much I wanted and needed water. Within what felt like a second the bottle was empty and I started to feel a bit better. I let the empty bottle sink into my lap and looked up at the others. Party Poison, Kobra and Jet Star just looked at me strangely, while Ghoul was snickering to himself.

"What?" I asked.

"You'd make a good porn star." Ghoul laughed, stood up and left the room, shaking his head and still laughing.

"Uhm... thank you?" I looked at the others confused. Kobra's face was bright red. Party Poison and Jet Star had their hands over their faces, now laughing as well and leaving the room.

"Uhm..." Kobra looked at me "You... uhm... you were moaning quite a bit." he chuckled slightly.

"Ohhhh...." I put my hand over my eyes and internally slapped myself. "Well... it happened, so... no need to die of embarrassment, that won't change anything now. Even though that's what I'd love to do now."

"Haha... nah. It's not like there's kids around. It's fine. We've all heard that before. And Ghoul's right, that was good." he laughed, sitting down on a chair across from me. I looked at his smirk and raised an eyebrow. I've known his name for only a couple of minutes and we're already talking about sex. Way to go, Lightning.

"Uhm... thanks?" I smiled. "So... Kobra, right?" I asked him, trying to change the subject.

"Kobra Kid actually." he nodded.

"Hm. So Kobra Kid, Jet Star, Party Poison and what's the tiny one called?" I asked. Kobra Kid threw his head back as a wave of laughter hit him.

"I like you, Lightning!" he crackled "The tiny one... true though."he laughed. "Fun Ghoul. His name's Fun Ghoul." he answered my question, still chuckling slightly.

"Ah, okay." I giggled slightly.

"Oh! Uhm... your boots are over there. We had to take them of to clean your wounds and your jacket's there as well." he pointed at a small pile of stuff next to the table. My boots, jacket, holster and my mask.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"You were lucky." Kobra Kid said, looking at me. "The rays that hit you burned the wounds shut so that you didn't lose too much blood and of course you were lucky that we found you." he smiled a bright smile.

"Yea... thank you guys for that. Without you I'd be dead now." I looked at my feet, not able to look at him. I'm bad at thanking people or taking compliments or... socializing in general.

"Don't mention it." he said, smiling. He sighed and leaned back, closing his eyes.

"Time to eat!" Fun Ghoul yelled, coming into the room again. "You hungry, Lightning?" He asked. I shook my head slightly.

"Hm... okay." he shrugged and threw Kobra Kid a can of... well, something. The four of them sat down at a table downing whatever was in the cans. I myself went into my own world. I had to think of something. They said they'd bring me back to my people. Well, my people were ghosted.

Party Poison made it pretty clear that they didn't want me around, so I have to think of something. Fast. I don't blame them, I'd just slow them down. I'm not that experienced in fighting and stuff, which is almost a daily activity out here in the desert. I always had people protect me and do the fighting for me. Not that I didn't want tofight, I just never got the chance to. The others always pushed me back, trying to protect me. I get it, they didn't want me to get hurt and stuff, but what they didn't mind is that I would lack experience and wouldn't be able to do anything on my own. Like right now. The moment they'll dump me somewhere I'm fucking dead. I can't tell them that I don't have anybody. I don't want them to feel like they haveto keep me around or something. I'll just have to cope on my own, I guess. Great. I mean, I have a bike. That's at least something. Wait... my bike. Where is it? Shit.

"Hey guys. Uhm... you didn't see an orange bike around, did you?"

"Hm... nah." Fun Ghoul answered, with his mouth full of Power Pup. PowerPup... disgusting.

"Dang it..." I whispered.

"Wait, you have a motorcycle?" Kobra Kid asked.

"Well... had." I sighed.

"We can go look for it later..." Fun Ghoul offered and the others nodded. I smiled slightly and nodded, before turning to myself again. HOW am I going to survive on my own?
