CHAPTER 18: CONVINCING KHUSHI

Khushi comes back to her senses.

Khushi: nanyaji I......I am listening to you all.

NK: but doesn't seem like.

Anjali:chote aren't you going to the doctor?

Arnav: yes di. I have to take her. The appointment is at 12:00pm.

Anjali looks at the clock

Anjali: chote now it's already 11:30am. So go fast.

Khushi: Di I will not be able to go.

All stared at her in complete confusion.

Khushi: no di actually the pain is not completely recovered. Doctor will say to take rest , so I thought of going after few days.

Arnav: exactly khushi! You pain is not healed till now. So we need to go to the doctor. And how do you know that doctor will say you to take rest?

Khushi: arnavji whatever you say I will not come.

Payal: khushi what are you saying?

Anjali: yes khushiji. Chote is correct, you will have to go to the doctor.

Arnav: khushi have you gone mad. It has been a week since you have got injured, and till now you have not recovered from it. We have to check if there is any infection. Not only that we have to remove the bandage.
Ok if you don't want to go to the hospital I will remove the bandage for you.

Khushi was thinking for an excuse when

Khushi: arnavji you have forgotten something. You have an important meeting right.

Arnav: khushi don't change the topic. If you are worried about my meeting akash is there to handle it.

Anjali: ok now I understood why khushiji is refusing to go to the hospital.

All look at Anjali in confusion.

Khushi: di atleast you can understand what I am trying to say.

Anjali: ya ya I understand khushiji. Your stupid husband can't understand.

Arnav: di you are supporting khushi. And by the way what is the reason why khushi is refusing to go to the hospital?

Anjali: chote she wants you to remove the bandage from her head, as simple as that. Can't you do that for her.

All started giggling. Khushi was shocked to hear what Anjali said whereas Arnav was jumping with joy in his mind. Arnav looked at khushi and smiled at her.

NK: di you are very smart. See even Arnav wanted that. We can understand by looking at his face.

Arnav: shut up NK. Well if that is what khushi want after a pause I am ready.

Khushi: di I dint mean that. I can remove the bandage on my own also. Then khushi looks at Arnav. I don't need anyone's help.

Payal: khushi stop being stubborn. Look arnavji  is ready to help you, then why are you refusing it.

Arnav: khushi listen. Either I will remove it or we will go to the hospital. You can decide.

Khushi Was completely helpless now. Arnav smirked at her in victory.

Anjali: khushiji don't miss this chance. You don't get always chance like this that too from chote. Think what you want.

Teasing both of them Anjali went to  the kitchen and rest also goes out for their routine work.

NK: well I think I should go. Have a great day guys bye.

Now khushi and Arnav is left all alone just then Khushi whispered to Arnav

Khushi: I just can't understand why you are acting soo much.

Arnav: In fact I am not acting. I am serious. Especially when it come to you. I know that I am the reason behind your injury and I regret now. I am really very sorry. Khushi.......... Khushi.....I......I.......Will you forgive me?

Khushi was very shocked to hear Arnav saying sorry.

Khushi: Kya?Laad governor is saying sorry. Am I dreaming?or what

AAAAAHHHHH!!!!! (Khushi screamed)

Why did you pinch me??

Arnav: because you aren't dreaming.(smiling)
