As Stevie lay in bed that night and she began thinking about how she was missing ally, and how she wished she could still be spending time with her, she just enjoyed ally's company. Stevie lay there thinking about how amazing she felt when she was around ally, she knew that she felt content end just happy with who she was as a human being. She loved being friends with ally.

Her phone went off, she shook her head with confusion because it was almost 3am. It was ally.

Hey you! Are you awake? You probably aren't but I can't sleep and I don't know why, I just heard my parents getting it on so that's gross.. Anyway, just wanted to text, I'm sorry if this wakes you :)

Stevie smiled as she read it, she thought about how it was ironic, it was ironic because she never used to text anyone and now she gets excited just reading a text. Stevie contemplated whether or not she should reply. She could just say that she got woken up by her message but she didn't want ally to feel bad, so she decided to say this,

Hey. Yeah I'm awake. Ew omg I'm so sorry, no one deserves to hear that.. Is something on your mind? Do you want to talk about it? :)

Stevie stared a her screen and she could see that ally was toying and then her message came through.

Yeah, I'm all good, thank you Boebi :) anyway, if you wanna sleep you can :) ill see you at school tomorrow? :) night.

With that, Stevie decided to say goodnight and to sleep as well, she smiled and placed her phone back on her table.

Ally woke up to the smell of coffee beans coming from the kitchen, it made her smile, ally loves coffee, especially from Starbucks. She got up, and immediately went downstairs to greet her mom, she was there and she was looking down at her phone, squinting,

"Morning mom, where're you're glasses?" Ally said giggling as she grabbed a yoghurt and an apple, she slowly cut into the apples so they were in a few sliced and she mixed the vanilla yoghurt into the apples, sitting down and looking at her mother that was sat opposite her.

"I can't find them.." Ally's mom said, she looked as if she was lying though, but ally ignored it. Ally just nodded her head as she carried on eating,

"I'm ready, can we go?" Ally said, she didn't have a ride to school so she relied on her mom. They both got their things and headed to her moms jeep. Ally sat next to her mom

"So sweetie, any friends you've made recently?" Ally's mom had asked ally as the pulled off, ally smiled,

"Actually, yeah, her name is Stevie, she's so great and such a nice person." Ally said, thinking about the dark haired girl. She then remembered about the text at about 3am the previous night. Ally couldn't help but feel bad, the last thing she intended when texting Stevie was to wake her, and it wasn't that serious anyway, she just couldn't sleep.

"She seems lovely, and ally, uhm, are you, you know - interested in her?" Ally's mom had asked her and ally just giggled, and then shook her head no. This then triggered ally to think back to how she came out to her parents.

*partial flashback*

She had planned it (like every other gay kid in the universe) and she was certain that she knew that one day would be THE day, it never happened like that, she just kept on pushing it away. One day she was sitting in her room and she knew that today was THAT day that she would tell her parents that she is indeed - gay. Her mom came into her room to ask her about lunch and she then could sense that something was wrong with ally. So she proceeded to ask that really famous parent question;

"What's wrong?

Ally hated that question as she hated lying because everyone, especially mommy Hills could tell that something was bugging her. Her mom asked he a few times but ally's response every time was the common teenage response,

"Nothing."

Her mom knew ally better than that and so she walked out of ally's room but before she was out completely, she stopped at turned to look at ally, she smiled softly and said,

"When you're ready, text me whatever you want to tell me"

Ally was more than pleased with that. She opened the contact named 'mother' and she began typing. She simply said the following in the worded text message.

I've been wanting to tell you for a while but here it is - i am gay..

Ally still remembers to this day how she was feeling. She was anxious, nervous, and somewhat excited. When she hit send, her mom took about 6 minutes to reply. And to this day, ally is so incredibly happy and grateful for how her parents reacted. Her mom said,

I love you no matter what.

And in that exact moment, ally felt a sense of relied that she had never felt in her life before, she felt free. She remembered back to how her dad was suppose to come home a few hours later and her mom had told her that she can't tell her dad for her, this was something ally herself had to do. Her dad came home later that evening and ally stayed silent in her room, she then heard her dad from downstairs,

"Ally!" He shouted from the kitchen,

"Ally!!" He kept on calling for her. Ally then heard her mom call her dad into their room, they spoke and soon her dad came into her room, he stood in front of her and he smiled slightly,

"So your mom tells me you're happy." Was all he said to his daughter.

Ally laughed in her head she thought back to this part. It was typical of her dad to think that gay many happy and not homosexual. Such a male. Ally loved her dad but this was a serious thing, she then remembered what he said after he said that,

"No matter what, I love you and all your mom and I want is for you to be happy and safe,"

At this moment in time of the flashback, ally remembered how her father grabbed her softly and embraced her into a big bear hug as he told her he loves her.

*end of flashback*

"Ally?" Ally heard her mom saying her name,

"Yeah?" Ally said in a calm manner acting as if she didn't just ignore her mom the whole drive over to school,

"Never mind, we can talk after school. Have a good day sweetie." Ally leaned over and kissed her mom goodbye, she then left the car and walked over to Ali,

"Hey girl!" They greeted one another. And Stevie soon joined in,

"You okay?" Stevie asked ally quietly, only for them to hear, ally nodded biting her lip,

"Yeah! Let's get going" ally smiled as Stevie locked their arms together, her mind spinning like crazy due to the flashback she had about fifteen minutes ago.

This is gonna be a long day.

Was what Ally thought to herself.
