Chapter 13

-Spencer's POV-
I happily yet nervous walked into JJ's room.
Okay calm down Spencer, she's okay. I thought to myself.
I walked in and saw JJ sleeping with her blonde hair all over the pillow.
I smile.
I walk over and carefully grab her hand.
I see her slur some.
Then she slowly wakes up.
"Wil-Spence?" She says, confused.
"Will?" I ask, scared.
Her eyes slowly go to my hand holding hers.
"Spence! I'm married to Will! Let go of my hand!" She yells and smacks my hand, making me let go.
I walk backwards some.
"Sorry umm sorry." I mutter before I run out of the room and into the bathroom.
"Kid!" Morgan yells as I run past him and the team.
"Reid!" Morgan yells again as he follows me into the bathroom.
I run into a stall and lock it. Then the next thing I know tears are going down my face.
"Kid!" Morgan says right outside the stall I'm in.
I try to be quiet and make no noise but it's impossible to do when your crying.
I sniffle with my nose.
"Reid?" Morgan says on the other side of the stall.
I don't respond hoping he will go away. He stands for a few minutes waiting for me to respond.
"Spencer I know your in that stall. Come on, tell me what's wrong. JJ's okay so why are you upset?" Morgan asks. Making more tears come down my face.
"Come on kid, please tell me what's wrong." Morgan says, making a the door creek as he leans against the stall door.
"I-I'm okay." I stutter.
I wipe my eyes and hope that my eyes aren't very puffy.
I sniffle and then come out of the stall.
I was my hands.
"I'm perfectly fine." I mutter and then I walk out of the bathroom.
"Okay?" Morgan responds, unsure as he follows me out of the bathroom.
I walk over to the waiting room and sit beside Penelope.
"Why aren't you with JJ?" She asks.
"Um she was umm asleep." I say, lying.
"No she's not? I just went in there. She had a sad face though. She asked me to go out." Rossi says.
"Oh." I whisper.
"You should go in there. See what's wrong." Penelope suggests.
"She probably just needs some time alone." I say.
"Look Henry, it's daddy!" I hear Emily says as she walks out of the elevator.
"Dada!" Henry yells and runs over to me.
"Hey Henry!" I smile.
The whole team smiles as I pick up Henry.
Emily walks over with Kaelyn in her arms.
"Here you go, she just had a bottle." Emily says as I out down Henry and I get Kaleyn and hold her.
"Can we go see Mommy?" Henry asks.
"Uhh sure." I say. Henry grabs my free hand and we go into JJ's room.
We walk into the hospital room.
I awkwardly walk to the corner with Kaelyn in my arms as Henry runs over to JJ.
"Mama!" He yells as he jumps onto the bed.
"Henry! Come here honey!" JJ smile as she pulls Henry beside her.
Henry smiles and cuddles up beside her.
"Aw who's that little cutie?" JJ smiles and asks about Kaelyn.
That crushes my heart.
"This is umm Kaelyn-" I get cut off.
"That Sissy!" Henry smiles and points to Kaelyn.
"What do you mean Henry?" JJ asks, confused.
Henry tilts his head, confused. "That's my sissy." Henry replies.
JJ looks over towards Kaelyn.
"What?" She mumbles.
"Dada! Come over here!" Henry smiles and looks over to me.
I awkwardly smile and start making Kaelyn jump with my arms.
"Daddy come here!" Henry says as he jumps off JJ's hospital bed and walks over and tugs at my pants.
He grabs my hand and pulls me over towards the bed.
He gets back on to the hospital bed beside JJ.
He cradles his arms.
"Can I hold Sissy?" He asks.
I smile.
"Sure just be careful." I say as I carefully set Kaelyn into Henry's arms.
I look down at them and smile.
"Since when did you get so good with kids?" I hear JJ ask me.
I look over at her with wide eyes.
"Umm I don't know. It's natural a I guess." I respond.
"Since we had one." I mumble under my breathe, sadly.
"Mommy hold sissy." Henry says.
"Mommy can't, that's Spencer's decision." JJ says to Henry.
"Why not? Your Kaelyn's mommy. You can hold her." Henry says, carefully nudging JJ's arm.
"What, no that's Spencer's daughter." JJ says and she looks at me.
"No she's your daughter too. And Spencey is our daddy, your our mommy. See look at your rings." Henry says.
JJ looks down at her finger and then my finger, She then looks at me wide eyed.
"Hey Henry can you take Kaelyn and you both go sit with the team. Me and Spencer need to talk." JJ's says.
"Sure mommy!" Henry says.
I grab Kaelyn from him and then I help him down. I hand him Kaelyn and then make sure they get back to the team safely.
I close the door and look at JJ.
"Spencey is our daddy and your our mommy?" JJ asks.
"Uhh." Is all I manage to get out.
"Look at your rings?" She asks again.
"Umm." I awkwardly say, trying not to cry.
Then I look up at JJ and see her smiling.
"What?" I ask, confused.
Then she starts to laugh.
"Oh my god I so tricked you!" She laughs.
"What?" I ask again.
"You actually thought I forgot that we got married and had Kaelyn?" She laughs.
"T-that was a joke?" I ask.
"Yeah and you fell for it." She laughs again.
I just stare at her and blink.
"No, just no." I blink and say.
JJ immediately stops laughing and looks at me sadly.
I turn around and start walking out of the room, a little pissed.
"No Spence!" She whines and she grabs my arm.
I breathe in.
"Spence!" She calls again and I look down.
"What." I ask.
Then she pulls my head down and kisses me.
"I'll always remember you, you know that right?" She mumbles and puts my forehead to hers.
I smile.
She pad son the bed beside her and I sit down.
I pull her into my lap and she leans her head onto my stomach.
"Everything going to be alright." She mumbles.
"Because I have you." I whisper.
"And I have you." She responds.
I smile and then she slowly falls asleep.
