Chapter 11

-JJ's POV-
I woke up in the hospital. I remember that Spencer is alive and I smile.
I put my arm out to where he should be, laying beside me.
But nothing there.
I lean up and look around the hospital room.
"Spence?" I say and I look around over and over again.
"He left. He left me again." I say and I get into a ball with the hospital sheets covering me. I start crying.
"He doesn't love me, he was just saying that yesterday to be nice." I mumble.
"He never loved me. He finally left me." I say and I start crying harder.
I get up and find my clothes. I rip the IV out of my wrist, grabbing it so it will stop stinging.
I go into the bathroom and change.
I hold a wet paper towel over my eyes, trying to get the puffiness to go down.
I walk out and grab my bag.
"Mam. Mam! Mam stop!" A receptionist yells at me as I walk out.
I ignore her and keep walking.
"Mrs. Reid!" My doctor yells right as I'm almost out the door.
"Don't call me that." I mumble, as the name Reid stings my heart. Making me want to cry again.
"Mrs. Reid!" The doctor yells and he runs up to me.
"I said, DONT CALL ME THAT!" I turn and scream at him.
"Mrs. Re- Jareau please calm down." The doctor says to me.
"NO WHEN I DONT WANT TO BE CALLED SOMETHING DONT CALL ME THAT!" I scream again.
"Security!" The doctor yells and security guards run up and grab me.
"PUT ME DOWN!" I scream and I kick around, trying to get out of their grip.
"Ma'am calm down." One of the security guards orders.
"PUT ME DOWN!" I scream again. As I kick around.
"JJ! JJ stop!" I look and see Spencer running down the hallway towards me.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" I scream and tears start going down my face.
"JJ!" Spencer says and he runs over to me.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" I scream and I end up kicking the security guard that was holding me.
He falls and ends up dropping me.
I turn around and run out of the hospital.
"SHES NOT SAFE TO LEAVE YET!" I hear a doctor yell.
"STOP! Let me get her!" Spencer yells at the doctor and he goes out of the hospital and starts running after me.
"JJ!" He yells behind me.
"NO LEAVE ME ALONE!" I scream and I keep running.
"JJ! JJ STOP RUNNING!" He yells behind me.
"NO!" I scream back at him as the cold Virginia air stings my face.
"JJ!" He yells again.
"NO! GO AWA-!" I start screaming but I stop as my head starts to pound in pain.
I stop running and I grab my head and start crouching down as the pain starts hitting me hard.
"JJ!" Spencer yells as his footsteps get closer to me.
"STOP YELLING!" I scream in pain.
"JJ, what's wrong." Spencer whispers as he crouches down to me.
"No no don't touch me." I tell him but a big wave of pain hits me again.
He ignores me and puts my head into his lap.
"Hey hey what's wrong." He whispers.
"Just leave me alone." I mumble.
"JJ just tell me what's wrong." He whispers in a calm voice.
"I just want to be alone." I say, squinting as pain pounds in my head.
"JJ you know I'm here for you. Ignore what ever is scaring you. Tell me what's wrong." He says.
Then I just start bawling.
"I tho-thought you lef-left me." I sniffle and I jump into his shoulder.
He hugs me and holds me tight.
"JJ I told you. I'm not leaving you. I love you will all my heart and plus you are the only girl who likes my nerdy ness." He says, smiling.
I laugh at his little joke.
"Are we good now?" He asks.
I start nodding my head but then the pounding in my head comes back.
I fall from the hug and lay in his lap, holding my head.
"JJ what's wrong?" He looks at me with his big worried eyes.
I feel too weak to give a response.
"JJ what's wrong." He asks again but I don't reply.
"JJ no no no please stay with me." He says.
I try to reply but nothing comes out of my mouth.
"Hospital." Is all I manage to say.
"Okay okay." He says, worried.
He stands up and picks me up bridal style and runs back to the hospital.
"Help!" Spencer yells and everyone turns to him.
"Someone help please!" He cries.
A doctor runs up to him.
He checks my pulse.
"She still has a pulse, follow me." The doctor says.
Spencer nods his head and follows the doctor, with me in his arms.
"Set her down here." The doctor points to the bed.
Spencer walks over to the bed and sets me down.
"Sir you have to leave." The doctor says.
"Please please help me." Spencer cries as a nurse pushes him out of the room.

-Spencer's POV- (missed this POV didn't you 😉)
A nurse pushes me out of the room that my wife is inside, dying for all I know.
I slide down the wall beside the door and cry into my knees.
"Please please let her be okay." I whisper.
After a few minutes of crying and panicking I call someone that I wouldn't think I would call about this.
I call Hotch.
Ring ring ring.
"SSA Aaron Hotchner." He answers.
"H-Hotch?" I sniffle.
"Reid what's wrong?" He asks.
"JJ j-just got p-put ba-back into the h-hospital." I say.
"You want me to call the team?" He asks.
"Not u-until later." I reply.
"Okay." Hotch says.
"Hotch?" I ask.
"Yes Reid?" He asks.
"Can y-you come over?" I ask him.
"Sure." He replies in a calming voice.
Then I hang up.
