Four.

“Summer! Where’s my sandwhich?!” Ate shouted.

“Ha?! Your sandwhich? E-ewan ko e. Where did you put it ba? D-diba I gave it to you na?”

“No. Hindi pa! Oh my god. Ma! Can you please zipper me?!” Mom came running across the room para isara yung zipper ng gown ni ate.

I held mom’s arm. “Ma, do I look fine?”

She held my face and smiled. Pero bago pa maka-sagot si mama, sumigaw na ulit si ate. “Oh c’mon! Summer! Hindi naman ikaw yung ikakasal today kaya it doesn’t matter na! Can you please find my sandwhich muna!”

Nataranta ako kaya I went to the kitchen para ikuha ulit si ate ng tinapay. When I got back inside the room, paikot-ikot sila nila mama and yung mga abay sa room.

“H-hey what’s wrong?!” I said.

“Nawawala yung sapatos ko!” Medyo naiiyak na sigaw ni ate.

“I found it na!” Sigaw ni ate Sabrina, bestfriend ni ate.

“Thanks.” She got her shoes and wore it.

“Here’s your sandwhich. And will you just please relax? Aatakihin na kaming lahat e!” I laughed.

“Sorry.. I’m just nervous..” She sat on the bed.

“For what?” I sat beside her. “That Kuya Nic will back out? No way. He’s not that type of guy.” I smiled.

“I know. I don’t know. Basta. Nevermind.” She hugged me. “Thanks sweetie.”

I hugged her back. “Ha? For what?”

“For being my baby sister.” Then she kissed my cheek.

Bumitaw ako sa yakap niya.”Ate naman e! You’re ruining your make-up oh! Ang mahal kaya niyan!” We both laughed.

Then mom came. “It’s time.” She smiled.

“Mauna na ko ate, ako photographer mo e.” She nodded.

I took lots of photos during the ceremony and yung program sa reception.

While I was looking at their photos, I can’t help but smile. They look so happy together, they look perfect. I guess sila talaga yung destined for each other that’s why they ended up marrying each other.

I put down my camera and looked at the sea below me.

Dito ulit sa resort na to two years before naganap yung reception ni ate. I’m on the very same spot where I met my life.

I decided to take a photo of myself kaya nilagay ko yung camera sa harap ko.

“I’ll take that.” I looked behind me.

And there he is. Looking as handsome the first time I met him here.

“N-nandito ka?”

He nodded then took a step forward.

“Why?”

“To take your picture.” He was standing in front of me.

“What?”

“To do this.” Then he kneeled down.

“W-what are you doing?”

“I’m going to propose isn’t it obvious?” He smirked.

“HA?!” I shouted.

“Wag ka ngang sumigaw! Nasisira diskarte ko e. Tahimik ka lang, mag-eexplain pa ko.”

“O-okay.”

“Nakita ako ng ate mo dito when she was organizing about her wedding so kinausap niya ko and we planned everything. That on her very special day, I’m going to ask you this..” He got out a ring from his pocket then looked at me straight in the eye. “Summer Escover, will you marry me?”

Hindi agad ako nakasagot. Then I heard ate’s voice sa baba, “SUMMER! WAG NA MAG-ISIP, JUST SAY YES! MAHIRAP LUMUHOD! MASYADONG MABATO! WAG NA MAARTE!” Then mom and kuya Nic laughed on what ate said.

Tumingin ako kay Rain and then smiled. “Yes, I’ll marry you.” Then I knelt down with him and kissed him.

When love is real, it truly finds a way. ❤
