Percy POV

"Wait wait wait. Tony Stark is your uncle?!" Frank spluttered.

"Correctamundo!" Tony chirped.

"You're so weird." Mom said from the hall as she walked past.

"But you love me!"

"That's debatable!"

I snickered. Frank looked very confused about the whole thing.

"Alright, let's go find Bruce. J, where's the good ole Doctor?" I shouted at the ceiling.

"In his lab on the fourth floor, Perseus."

"JARVIS, please call me Percy. Tony, stop reprogramming him whenever I correct him."

"No promises, kid."

I rolled my eyes and grabbed Frank's arm. "C'mon bro, let's go find Doc Banner."

"Why?"

"He's gonna do some tests and stuff, help figure you out."

"Like my father?"

I looked at him. "How'd you figure out it was your dad? Didn't you say both your parents were dead?"

Frank looked down. "Oh, sorry, man. I didn't mean it like that, I-"

"No, it's fine. My mom died only a few years ago, Perce. Remember how thick my accent was when I first got here? It's cause me and Clarisse moved from Canada. I mean, she moved to Canada, so it wasn't that bad, and now she's back with her mom, who sucks by the way, but that was right after my mom died. I didn't want to lose the accent."

"So it's your dad...wait, isn't Clarisse your half sister on your dad's side? She'd be a demigod too then!"

"She probably already knows. Her mom's pretty perceptive." Frank looked down. I knew he didn't like talking about his family.

"Sorry for bringing it up...maybe she knows your dad though."

"I don't want to ask her at all."

"Okay, we can ask Bruce to do the tests then. Speaking of," I shoved open the door to the lab. "Brucey! We got some work for ya!"

"Percy, what did I tell you about opening my door like that?" Bruce was nowhere to be seen, probably working in the back of the lab behind all the huge vats and various tubes and stuff on the back table.

"But Bruuuuuuce!"

"What do you want, Percy?" My other uncle appeared from behind whatever monstrous experiment he was doing. The Avengers were basically my family, uncles and two awesome aunts that loved me a lot.

"This is Frank. Frank this is Bruce. Bruce is gonna try and figure out who your godly parent is."

"A demigod?" Bruce raised his eyebrows.

"Yeah. His half sister is too, but we think she already knows and she's not nice."

Bruce nodded and looked Frank up and down. "Other parent?"

"My mom. She died in Afghanistan."

"A soldier?"

"Yeah. I'm from Canada, if that helps."

"Let's have him do some tests." Bruce gently pushed past me to leave the room. "Frank we're gonna go to the gym and test your physical and combat skills."

"I just had lacrosse practice, so it might not be super accurate." Frank said.

"Lacrosse? Interesting sport."

"I like it, I played it in Canada."

Bruce nodded. "So you have decent endurance at least."

Frank grinned a little bit. "I'm a starter."

"Since when? Congrats man!" I patted him on the back.

"Coach bumped me up last week."

Bruce led us into the gym. "Alright, first I want to see you fight."

"Like, hand to hand?" Frank frowned.

"If that's what you want."

He nodded and I grinned, jogging to the training mat and stripping my shirt off.

"Come at me, Maple Syrup boy!"

Frank rolled his eyes and pulled his shirt off too. He looked babyish to anybody who glanced at his face, but he was really almost all muscle. Lacrosse and other hard sports do that to people.

"Bring it on, Blueberry Face."

"Boys. I did not come in here to assess your trash talking abilities."

Frank didn't react to Bruce's comment, but rushed forward and shot a powerful jab at my chest. I stepped back, then ducked forward under his second swing and sunk and uppercut into his stomach.

I'm around 6 feet tall, but Frank is taller than both me AND Jason.

He let out a muffled grunt as all the air in his lungs rushed out. I twisted and slammed a kick into his hip.

Frank wrenched his torso away from my foot and I stumbled forward, trying to regain my balance. He brought his forearm down on my back as I bent forward, which resulted in me getting a faceful of floor mat.

Taking advantage of my currently lower center of gravity, I spun my body and used my feet to swipe Frank's legs out from under him.

I knocked his left leg out, but he managed to keep his right foot on the ground, at least giving me time to scramble to my feet and drop into a ready crouch.

Frank regained his balance and we began to circle, cataloging each others movements and strengths versus weakness.

Frank's foot rolled slightly as he stepped on a bump in the mat and he faltered, glancing down.

I lunged at him and slammed my fist into his jaw. He staggered, his hand coming up to clutch the probably broken bone.

Without hesitation, I whipped sideways and planted my foot against his chest, sending him flying backwards.

"Oooooooow." Frank groaned.

"Well, Percy wins but you put up a good fight...Is your half sister particularly violent?" Bruce asked.

"Very much so." I put in. "Oh, Bruce, we're going to have to get him some ambrosia...I might have broken his jaw."

"Really, Percy?" Bruce sighed. "Alright, help him up. I've got some in the infirmary."

I went over to Frank and held out a hand to help him up. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me down hard, resulting in me eating floor for the second time in the past ten minutes.

"Dude, not cool." I clutched my nose as it began to bleed.

"Serves you right." Frank muttered, wincing at the pain in his jaw.
