"August I like your company and Delta incorporated would love to partner with your company as our future construction business partners." Mr. Morgan, CEO of Delta incorporated said and August couldn't help but smile.

"Glad to hea' that. I'll get ma' secretary to send tha' paperwork to ya' office and you can have it befo' lunch."

"Good to hear August! N--" his speech was cut off by the sound of a cell phone going off. August looked at the caller ID and it read 'Home'. This betta be fuckin' important, he thought to himself before turning his attention to Mr. Morgan.

"Sorry man, give me a second. It might be my daughta'."

"Take your time, I have a son and I know how it is," He nodded before answering the phone and taking a step away from his business partner.

"Hulluh?"

"August you need to get home like now," August's housekeeper, Colleen, said into the phone.

"I can't leave na', I'm in the middle of a business meeting."

"Well, then we have a problem because Hailey is here."

"Tha' fuck? I tol' y'all to keep that fuckin' crazy delusional bitch away from ma' house"

"She had a key August!"

"Alright, I'm coming. Just don't leave her alone in ma' house."

"Oh trust me she isn't alone. Ned is grillin' her and won't even let her use the bathroom," August smiled at the thought of his seven-year-old daughter before saying his goodbyes and hanging up.

"It was great meeting you Mr. Harter and I look forward to business with your company." August nodded before following behind the man out the door. The two men bypassed August's secretary and August stopped quickly at her desk.

"Send the contract to Mr. Morgan's people by lunch and cancel all meeting for the rest of the day. If there are any complications, call my cell." Before she could reply with her usual 'yes sir' August had already been out the building and starting up his car. His white Ferrari 458 roared to life before quickly pulling out of the parking lot and onto the road. It soared down the highway quickly and effortlessly as August relaxed in the seats. This was one of his favourite cars. As August relaxed into the seat, his car's Bluetooth with his cell phone announced a call. Nikki.

"Answer call," August said before the car connected him to his brother's fiancee.

"August! How are you?" Nikki said as chirpy as ever.

"I'm good Nikki, how ya doin'?"

"I'm great. I just wanted to remind you that later on Samara and I are going to come to drop off the gift for Trey at your house," August chuckled at the memory. Nikki had come to him three weeks earlier with his brother's gift in mind and told him she wanted to keep it at his place because Trey had a habit of finding his gift in advance and opening it.

"I'm good wit it but make sure you tell ya friend that if she entering she betta leave all tha' attitude at the door," August said knowing Nikki was on speaking and her best friend would indeed hear.

"Kiss my ass August," Samara yelled and Nikki and August just chuckled.

"I don't know why you two act like that considering you two are so alike."

"I am nothing like her"

"I am nothing like him," they spoke simultaneously.

"Right," Nikki drew out sarcastically. "Just be home."
