I don't want to lose her. Not in this lifetime at maging saang buhay pa man.
"Don't worry about me, Euseff. I'll be fine, in fact, ngayon lang ulit ako nagkaganito. I almost forgot that this thing existed within me. "You should be focusing on your training."
"And how would I do that if you are like this? La, please, listen to me... don't stress yourself too much. Let Tita—" she cut me off.
"Busy 'yon. May binibilin akong gawain sa kaniya. And I promise that this will be the last that I will be confined, okay? Now, go back to your training and do your best..." binaba niya ang kamay ko kaso bigla ring nalipat sa ulo niya nang sumakit 'yon.
Fuck, I panic. "Oh my, shit! Nurse, Nurse, Doc, Doc!" I hurried to the nurse station, hoping to find a doctor but I saw a nurse instead.
"It was just a normal effects, Sir. The nurse stated.
"Why not try to relax?
I nodded. Okay, I need to relax so Lola will be relaxed also. I received a text from Tita Hareit.
From: Tita Hareit
I'll be there in a few minutes. Any food requests? If you want to go home, I can watch Lola until you come back.
To: Tita Hareit
I'll just go home po. Take care, Tita.
I just really needed to make sure that she'll be okay. I typed a reply to Coach.
To: Coach Fighting Maroons
Good morning, Coach. I hope you are well today. I can't promise to return by tomorrow—our last day of practice but rest assured that I will do my best to return as soon as possible to join the team. Hoping for your understanding. Thank you, coach.
I clicked sent after that. I assumed that Coach probably shared it to the team.
From: Tres Damien Polrejas Tf
Wag mo naman kaming iwan, oh! Akala ko ba ipapanalo natin to? Daya mo naman, tol. You break, broke, broken... ah, basta!
From: Fraternity Balew
You betrayed me... and I know you won't feel sorry for the things you did... tama ba ang lyrics?
I just laughed with their messages. Bobo.
