do you remember when we were kids
we didn't have a care in the world.
no responsibility
no problems.
you could make mistakes, but you still had room to learn
you could cry whenever and people would understand
you didn't have to know about the harsh world you lived in
the judgmental world.
do you remember how to laugh
like there was nothing holding you down?
or how to trust without a doubt?
when you still had faith and hope.
when you were only faith and hope.when the smile would reach your eyes and your voice would be furnished with innocence.
do you remember what it's like to be happy?
because I don't.
