"Lydia? Baby, what's wrong? " You used your thumb to move some of the hair from her face, while she inhaled shakily.
"We can't find Stiles, a-and every time I think I have something, the nogitsune is always one step ahead of us and I can't -" she broke into tears, and you hugged her to your chest.
"Hey, now. Lydia, you need to calm down, first of all, " You wiped the tears from her face and she nodded, "Good. Now, I know - hell, you know that you can do this, don't we?"
She nodded again and you continued, "And we will get that thing out of Stiles, and I know that you will be the one to find it, alright?"
She nodded one last time, and turned to look into your eyes, "I love you,"
"I love you, too, baby," You pecked her on the lips before humming her favorite song into her ear.
