"Kaya pala sa'min ka na ulit sumasabay tuwing break time." napapailing pang ani Faith.

We are currently seated around a round table inside of the cafeteria. Lunes na naman at ngayon ko naisipang sabihin sa kanila kung ano talaga ang nangyari sa amin ni Archein. Hindi ko sa kanila sinabi no'ng weekend dahil gusto ko personal. And we never had a chance to meet these past weekend.

I finally decided to tell them what happened between me and Archein. I told them how he shoved me away and how he treated me like a joke.

Hindi ko na siya pinagtanggol sa mga kaibigan ko because there's no need. We're over. I don't care anymore.

"Why didn't you tell us sooner, Harley?" seryosong tanong ni Sid. Humarap ako rito at kitang-kita ko ang pagsasalubong ng kaniyang mga kilay. She was staring at me like I did something wrong.

Marahas akong suminghap bago siya inilingan. I then smiled at her to gesture her that I don't even care anymore.

But do I?

"Okay na 'yon, Sid." peke akong tumawa upang mawala ang tensyon sa kaniyang mukha. "I don't really care anymore. I know that what happened between us was bound to be temporary. Una pa lang, hindi na talaga siya seryoso." umiiling kong ani.

I mentally scoffed. Temporary? Right. But why the hell was my heart forcefully contradicting what just came out from my mouth. My mouth says it was only bound to be temporary, but my heart yearns otherwise.

Like what I just said was a dagger of fatality I just willingly dug deeper inside my heart.

"Pero..." Faith trailed off. Napatingin kaming dalawa ni Sid sa kaniya, ang mga kilay ay parehong magkasalubong. She pursed her lips as she hesitantly spoke. "Bakit gano'n 'yong behavior ni Archein last Friday?" she asked.

Mas lalong nagsalubong ang aking mga kilay. I stared at her, confused.

"What do you mean? What behavior?" takang tanong ko. I tried to remember what happened last Friday, and...

My eyes partly widened as I recalled what happened. I swallowed hard as I stared back at Faith.

She shot me a meaningful look. "Baka akala niya talaga... nililigawan ka ni Liam." anito na mas lalong nagpatingkad ng pagkalito sa isip ko. "I mean, baka nagseselos talaga siya kay Liam? Kaya ka... nilayuan."

I blinked twice as what she said was actually making sense in my head.

"I-imposible naman." I trailed off.

I mean, it's impossible, right? He treated me as his toy. He showed me little affection and lacked seriousness when it comes to me. Kaya ngayon... imposibleng lalayuan niya ako dahil lang... nagseselos siya.

But fuck, Harley! Nagseselos ako! I'm freaking jealous!

I pressed my eyes shut as I recalled his words.

"Hindi imposible, Harley." I faced Sid when she spoke. Wala na ang kaninang nandidilim niyang tingin. It was now replaced with confusion, similar to how I feel. "Considering that you've been seeing him these past few days... Baka naman..." she trailed as she didn't finish her sentence.
