Ramdam ko ang malalagkit na tingin sa akin ng ibang tao. I could feel the puzzled stares of my teammates, and I could feel how Liam stiffened. But I could also feel the smirk on Brent's face.

"So if you'll excuse us... You can't go out with my girlfriend." saad ni Archein.

The next thing I knew, he was already dragging me out of the gym while Brent followed us. Malaki ang ngisi sa labi ni Brent ngunit ramdam ko ang seryosong ekspresyon ni Archein.

Muli akong tumingin sa teammates ko at kita ko ang lito sa mukha nila. Ang iba ay ngising aso ngunit ang iba naman ay napapailing na lang. Muli akong tumingin kay Liam at kita ko ang inis sa kaniyang mukha. His brows were furrowed and his jaws were clenched.

Marahan akong lumunok nang marinig ko ang mga bulong-bulungan ng iba. Hindi ko 'yon pinansin at nagpahila na lang ako kay Archein hanggang sa makalabas na kami ng gym.

"Dude, I thought you were low-key. Paano ngayon at naka-public na ang relasyon n'yo." natatawang ani Brent. Napapailing pa ito habang naglalakad.

I just felt my self glowing crimson as it finally dawned on me.

Archein confirmed he's my boyfriend... in front of Liam. And everyone on the gym heard him. Even my teammates.

Fuck!

Is this still part of the pretending game? Nagpapanggap siya para lumayo sa akin Si Brent. At ngayon naman, nagpapanggap siya para hindi na mangialam pa si Liam? Is that it?

Hindi pa rin nagsasalita si Archein. Binitawan niya na ang braso ko at tumigil kami sa paglalakad. We were standing in the middle of the hallway, three rooms away from the gym.

Sumalubong sa akin ang seryosong mukha ni Archein nang humarap ito sa akin. I pursed my lips as I saw his jaw clenching. Maging ang mga kilay nito ay magkasalubong.

"You're entertaining him?" he spoke with his cold tone. His eyes were firm, no emotions can be read. I blinked multiple times. This was his stares that felt like he's throwing ice cubes at you. So cold, so serious.

I was taken aback with his question. I almost furrowed my brows at the thought the he must've heard what Liam said earlier. Eh ano naman sa kaniya 'yon? Ano naman kung i-entertain kong talaga 'yong lalaking iyon. As if he cares, hindi naman siya seryoso sa'kin, 'di ba?

I heard how Brent lightly chuckled. "I think I should give you two some space. Bye guys! And don't forget our date, Harley." saad nito.

Halos mapa-irap ako nang muli akong tumingin sa kaniya.

"Date?" bakas ang inis sa tanong na iyon ni Archein.

"Chill, dude. Friendly date lang naman. We'll just get some ice creams later." he playfully stated before he winked at me. Matapos ay hindi na nito hinintay ang sagot ni Archein at napapailing na lang na umalis.

"So? Answer me." Napabaling ako kay Archein. "Are you entertaining that guy? I thought he's just your friend who you ate lunch together with?" puna nito. There was a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

I almost rolled my eyes. Ngunit kumalma ako at mahinang napasinghap. "At ano naman sa'yo kung ini-entertain ko si Liam, ha?" mahinang tanong ko.
