Not Yet Over

'What' was her first word, growing up a thinker
A question mark in the end of every sentence

'Where' was her second word, looking for another world
She's gonna be brighter than anyone on this earth

'Why' was her third word, always in a daydream,
She notices the galaxy and not the blue sky

When she learned the other words, she has seen both stars and clouds
A world in a different meaning
All on her own perspective

She was mended by this world, to see everything clearly,
To say the beautifulest of words, speaking out dearly,

And when she saw the man; in a beanie and brown cardigan
An aura of indescribability, stronger than her ability to comprehend,
She can't understand,

She's now 18, learning the word 'love',
A question-exclamation mark,
She can't put her finger on this subject,

The world is small, experience taught her that,
And she's grown up, but not really grown much

The world is smiling upon her shoulder, and looking back now
There's so much to discover

'Love' is one of them, creeping in the corners of her mind,

And the first three words that she learned;
Are guiding her again today and now

"Hey, uh, I think I saw you in the same class. What's your name?"
