I'm sorry

I want to apologize

I want to apologize for everything I said

And everything I did

To make you leave me

I want to apologize for

Being clingy

And then being distant

I want to apologize for

Being overly happy

Then being so bizarrely sad

It was brutal really

An epic love story

Cut short

But sometimes the best stories

Are from past experiences

That we learn to get over

And understand the meaning

In the future

And sometimes

We don't understand

How much something means to us

Until we lose it

And maybe then

We will learn a lesson

About life

And about happiness

So I am sorry

For everything
