Fairytales

Dragons and princesses
Towers and princes
Love and sorrow
All these are components in
A good fairytale
But they exist in real life too
Dragons represents the bullies in life
The ones we have to 'slay'
The ones we have to rid ourselves of
But that could also be taken a different way
Like the dragons that crawl into our heads
Late at night
And breathe fire and negative thoughts
And reproduces little demons that crawl their way up our throats
In sobs that only come out at night
Princesses are the little girls that dream big and reach high
But unfortunately its hard to continue on
An optimistic journey
With the surrounding pain and sorrow of our cruel world
Towers represent the struggles in life
And sometimes instead of waiting for a prince
We have to cut our hair off and swing down ourselves
We have to show courage and bravery
We have to be strong to overcome the towers in life.
Princes are the boys that fight
The boys that fight for what they believe in
Whether its the hand of a fair maiden
Or slaying a mighty dragon
Or maybe just standing up for themselves or others
Love is petty and pretty
Its petty because of the pain that comes along
You really know how much you love someone
By how bad the heartbreak was
Thats when you know it was real
Its pretty because its a natural high
It makes you feel whole and unique and special
All these wonderful feelings locked up
Because of a kiss on the cheek
Or a sign of affection
Sorrow surrounds us everywhere
From the grieve over a love one that god needed up in heaven
Or the pain from depression.
Sorrow is everywhere
Love is everywhere
Fairytales exist
Its whether or not you choose to believe
And be the best character you can be
