GONE - 20
Dear Issac,
Lola and I have started to get along quite well. We talk all the time, at school and outside. We sit together wherever we can and spend a lot of time together, overall.
She's been my helping hand, and I've been hers. She thinks I don't see the pain in her eyes that diffuses when she sees me, like a shield. But I know, because I've seen that pain in your eyes. In my own eyes too. I don't say anything though, if she wishes to tell me she will.
I told her about you, when we were having a sleepover. We were both teary after watching a movie and I decided to let her know.
Her response surprised me.
Instead of calling me pathetic and other names, she just smiled. Her smile was warming which touched me emotionally, without having to physically.
She told me she was here for me.
I hugged her.
