*Mia POV*
The nurses or doctors didn't come back outta the room, they were still in there. I didn't know for a fact that Jeff was dead right? The doctors didn't tell me. I just knew that they we're trying to bring him back. I totally over exaggerated 10 minutes ago. My eyes was blood shot red. My heart ached. I loved Jeff, I should have never lied to him about Rj being his. If only he could pull through this, I'd be the best girlfriend he could ever have. I went into the room to spend time with Rj. And prayed to god that Jeff pulled through. I'm not sure who, but someone gave Rj blood. He was still unconscious though. The doctor came in the room, he told me Rj was breathing on his own now. And they was just waiting on him to wake up. Boy prayers truly does changes things. I'm calm, and it seems like things seem so much better. I haven't been spending time with Rj since he came to the hospital I've been in Jeff's room. I really hope my baby.pulls through. I ran my hands through Rj hair,
"When you wake up ima take you to Chuckie Chesse. And we can go get Patrica. But you gotta wake up first."
Rj eyes opened really slowly.
"Mom?" He said and his voice seemed so faint.
"Hey baby, how you feeling?" I said excitedly, sitting next to him on the hospital bed.
"What happened? How come I can't feel my leg?" He asked me.
I looked down at his leg, it had been shot. I was so hurt.
"You got shot at baby.. Your okay now though, your leg got shot at.. I'll see if they can give you a replacement leg. And you can be my super man!"
He didn't seem upset, or any thing.
"Can it be red mommy? Does that mean I can't walk anymore? Why are your eyes so red? Why are you crying mommy?"
I just sat quiet, not knowing what to say. I was hurt, all because of me.
A doctor that was working on Jeff came in the room "Hello, Mia?"
"Yes?"
"Can i speak to you for a second?"
"Yeah, sure, I'll be right back baby."
"I just spoke with Jeff's mom he's doing just fine we had to bring him back 5 times, but he's a strong man. Most people don't pull through. He's up, I don't think he remembers anything though. Were gonna have to keep him two more weeks, just to make sure everything is okay."
"Thank you so much!!!" I said hugging the doctor, I know he was like why tf is this girl hugging me but I was so happy both of my boys pulled through.
