God, my head pounded as
If I drown in
A river of my own sorrow-
Drunk on a ridden wave of self-doubt,
Selfish want
With little will to do.
I wish this were a headache of horror
A demon of undesired.
I wish for a hammer to bash
My head in
Or out.
Someone let the wild thought of unworthiness out.
Let it fly out of my headdress
In an undamaged corner.
Must then I will be free of
This guilt
