a gifted child

In youth's embrace, a gifted star,
A radiant mind that soared afar.
A year has passed, the glow subdued,
No longer in the limelight, once pursued.

From brilliantly bright to a quiet middle,
A journey taken, a riddle.
Yet within, the brilliance remains,
Subtle strength in quiet refrains.

A gifted child still shines within,
A quiet brilliance, a hidden din.
