River

Beneath the willow's gentle sway,

Where river currents weave and play.

Leaves cascade in a ballet so freely,

Each pirouette into the flowing sea.

Rocks converse, click, and clang,

Transforming in the river's rhythmic pang.

They dance in circles, making a watery sound.

A mesmerizing, timeless rebound.

A hand extends into the stream,

Stirring ripples like a dream.

Ribbons of water leap and flash.

Embracing the moment with a splash.

So a fool, enchanted, dares the flow.

As the river's melody begins to grow.

With grace, they succumb, begin to drown,

Water fills her lungs,

silent crown

yet another queen.
