31. The Reunion

Rayan's POV

"Chachu!!" my nephew ran upto me as soon as i entered the house.

I picked him up in my arms and spinned around causing him to giggle.

"My chocolate?" Saad asked.

"My kiss?" i raised my eyebrows and he giggled before giving me a peck on cheek.

I did the same before taking out the chocolate bar from my bag and his eyes lit up as soon as he took the chocolate from me.

"Love you chachu!" i chuckled at his excitement.

"Chachu ke ladle, did you finished your milk?" we heard bhabhi's voice and saad eyes widened.

"Ooops!" he exclaimed and ran off before he could get scolded by bhabhi.

I entered my room and went to take a shower as today was a very tiring day.

I relaxed a little under the cool water.  After showering i went out while drying my hair with the towel.

I went near my desk and grabbed a pen before marking another day on the calendar.

"Three years, two months and ten days.." i murmured to myself.

I opened the drawer of my side table and held the picture of her in my hands as i sat on the bed.

"I'm still waiting for you sweetheart.." i sighed.

I miss her soo much. There hasn't been a single day i hadn't missed her. Sweetheart please come back soon.

I was lost in my thoughts when suddenly saad barged into my room. "Chachu who is she?" he asked pointing towards hee picture.

I smiled before speaking, "Hmmm she will be your chachi one day."

His eyes widened in surprise, "Really!"

"She's pretty!" he exclaimed and giggled.

"I know right" i chuckled.

Just then bhabhi came to call us for dinner and we went downstairs.

"You look really happy today" ma said to eman who truly was blooming today.

"Because i am!" she exclaimed.

Ma shook her head at her over excitement and continued eating.

After finishing i went in my room and completed some work.

"Bhai?" eman entered my room.

"Hmmm?" i asked without looking up from the laptop.

She had a satisfying smile on her face as she spoke.

"Bhai, she's back!"
