Chapter 15:- Engagement

The days were very hectic for all the staff. In the evening, it was time to return home.

There was a knock on Abhimanyu's cabin door.

"Come in, Aarohi. What are you doing here?"

"Actually, Abhimanyu, I came here to ask if you are coming along with me or not."

"For what, Aarohi?"

"For the dinner which I am going to cook."

"Yeah, sure, why not, Aarohi. Let's go."

They both went to the Goenka house. He wished everyone, and they also wished him.

"Abhimanyu, what are you doing here at this hour?"

"Woh, Bade Papa, Aarohi is cooking food, so I came here to eat it."

"People run away from poison, and he has come to have poison. Wow."

"Did you say something, Kairav?"

"No, Abhimanyu, I didn't say anything."

"Ok, now attention everyone, I am going to cook."

Everyone was scared hearing this from Aarohi.

"I thought she would forget it by evening, but she still remembers," Akshara whispers with a small smile on her face.

"Now what to do?" Kairav said.

"Let her cook. She is Aarohi; she won't be listening to us and will do what she wants. But I am scared for Abhimanyu. Badi maa said with concern.

Everyone was sitting at the dining table and waiting for Aarohi.

"What is she cooking that is taking so much time?" Mimi asked.

"Give her time, Mimi. She will be coming," Kairav replied.

"It's better, Kairav, if she doesn't come."

"But badi maa..."

"Here, everyone, the dinner is ready," said Aarohi while bringing the food.

"Wow, the smell seems amazing," Kairav said.

"Wow, Aaru, you made all this stuff?"

"Yes, Akshu, I have made it. Try it and tell me how it is."

"I don't know where to start. You have made shahi paneer, chapatti, dal makhni, and many more dishes," Manish said excitedly.

"Bade Papa, you must have it while keeping your health in control.

Abhimanyu, you aren't having anything. Have some," Kairav said.

Abhimanyu took a bite and enjoyed the food a lot. Everyone enjoyed the food made by Aarohi and couldn't believe that it was cooked by her.

"See, Bade Papa, these are all side effects of Abhimanyu."

"Yes, Kairav bhaiya, you are absolutely right. Someone is blushing as well." Akshara said teasingly.

Badi Maa Aarohi shouts,

"Stop teasing my Aaru, let her enjoy!"

"You too, Badi Maa."

Everyone was having fun while having food, and Abhimanyu left after 2 hours as it was getting late. It was Abhirohi's engagement the next day.

Everyone was running from here to there, and the arrangements were seen; it was perfect. The Goenka house was looking very gorgeous. Guests had arrived; only the wait of the couples was left.
