Chapter 11: New Job

The sun rose over Berlin, casting its golden rays across the city as Valeska prepared for her first day at her new job as a dentist. She was nervous yet excited, ready to embark on this new chapter of her life.

Stepping into the bright, modern dental office, Valeska felt a surge of anticipation. She greeted her new colleagues warmly, feeling a sense of camaraderie among them.

As she settled into her workspace, Valeska couldn't help but feel a sense of pride at how far she had come. She had worked hard to achieve her dream of becoming a dentist, and now it was finally becoming a reality.

But as she began her work, Valeska couldn't shake the nagging feeling in the back of her mind. She couldn't stop thinking about Alexandru and the events of the previous night.

Just then, her colleague approached her with an excited smile. "Did you hear the news? There's a new tech company moving into the building next door. They're supposed to be one of the best in the business!"

Valeska's heart skipped a beat at the mention of the new company. She couldn't help but wonder if Alexandru would be working there.

Sure enough, as the day wore on, Valeska's suspicions were confirmed. Alexandru was indeed starting work at the tech company next door.

A wave of conflicting emotions washed over Valeska as she processed the news. On one hand, she was excited to see Alexandru again, to have the chance to talk to him and maybe even reconcile their friendship.

But on the other hand, she couldn't shake the hurt and betrayal she had felt when she saw him with her sister. How could she face him now, knowing that he had chosen Emma over her?

As the day drew to a close, Valeska couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled in the pit of her stomach. She knew that seeing Alexandru again would bring up a flood of emotions, and she wasn't sure if she was ready to face them.

But deep down, Valeska knew that she couldn't avoid Alexandru forever. They would be working in the same building, after all, and sooner or later, their paths were bound to cross.
