You and Cam are relaxing in the summer heat on top of your roof, a spot the two of you commonly coexist in, just sitting in peace while the world continues to bustle below you.
"I love this view," Cameron mumbles, breaking the momentary silence.
"Me too," you say, turning your gaze to him. Cam, who has always had a crush on you, blushes but brushes it off. You scooch closer to him and take his hand, making his head snap to your face.
"I really like it now," you say, leaning forward and pressing a kiss to his lips. You pull away from him and he can only sit there, staring at you as a breeze whips your hair into frenzies. Laughing at his shocked expression, you lean on his shoulder and he hesitantly wraps an arm around your shoulders.
