• 41 ~ Promise me •

"What time is Mark supposed to be home?" Jinyoung asks helping me jump off the window sill, "not for another few days" I reply and we hear footsteps and chatter from Mark and Jihyo.

Our eyes widen and I push him into the closet, "My clothes" he says aggressively and I frantically look around to see his jeans folded at the corner of the bedroom, I grab them in confusion "You folded your jeans?" I ask him and handing him the jeans.

"Yes, I thought I would be staying here the whole day so I washed it" Jinyoung answers, my mouth drops in confusion. "What?" he says trying pull up his jeans, "Nothing" I close the closet door and I grab the stranded shirt at the edge of the bed and pull out some baggy shorts from my drawers. "Y/N" Mark calls out, I try to fan my flushed face letting my hair down to cover my hickeys.

I walk out of the door awkwardly smiling, "You're back so early?" I look up to see Mark's face mixed with anger and worry, "What's wrong?" my tone in my voice changes as I watch him pull out his phone,  "Was Bogum here?" he asks, "N-no" I lie through my teeth and he throws his phone onto the sofa and repeats the question, Jihyo tries to calm him down with physical touch but his body doesn't calmly respond.

"There are articles of Bogum arrested with pictures of him and Jinyoung fighting" he says storming over the kitchen counter for some water, "Now answer me honestly, was he here?" he says deeply.

I nod my head avoiding to look at Mark in the eyes. "That's it" he grabs his phone and Jihyo blocks the front door, "Jihyo, move. I'm going to kill this man if I have to" he tried to keep calm.

"He didn't hurt me" I start to cry, "He was waiting for me to come back home but Jinyoung got to him at the car park before he could actually hurt me"

Mark sees me cry and starts to feel apologetic, he walks over to pull me into a hug. "He's getting out the next day, you won't be safe here" Mark says, "I'm going to apply for a restraining order until the papers go through the divorce" Mark pulls out his phone calling a few contacts.

Jihyo hugs me, "You will have to keep it low key of where you're staying but you have to pretend as if it doesn't bother you" she advises me and I nod my head.

She pulls away giving me a smile and she notices a few hickeys on my neck and her eyes widen. I notice her expression and she quickly wraps her arms around my neck trying to make it seem like a hug to Mark.

"You'll be staying at Jinyoung's" Mark says, "I know you guys are not at the best terms" Jihyo lightly laughs and I nudge her stomach, Mark notices our small physical touch. "Is there something I should know?" he asks and we both quickly shake our heads.

"I'll let him know now and I'm pretty sure he'll give you your own room and space" Mark phones ring, "I'll tell him later this afternoon, I need to run some errands but Jihyo will help you pack" he says answering the phone leaving the apartment.

We both watch the door close and she unwraps her arms around my neck to cross her arms, "Where is he?" She asks and I look the other way, she storms into my bedroom.

I follow behind her and hide in the opposite corner with embarrassment. "Lover boy, come out" she says sitting on the bed and Jinyoung comes out with his head down. "I'm not even going to ask what happened, you clearly don't need my help to pack" Jihyo says clapping her hands.

Jihyo walks towards me and opens her small bag pulling out a condom and whispers in my ear, "I don't see any condom wrappers here, to avoid Mark killing Jinyoung at least wrap his tool" she places it into my hand walking away laughing.

She closes the door behind her and there's silence, we both stare at each other until I break out in laughter.

"You know, she's right" he says slowly walking towards me, I stare at his abs and then his face. "Oh yeah" I slightly tilt my head, "I think we should try it with the condom on and then without just be to sure which one feels nice" he teasingly pokes my waist which causes me to laugh.
