'Kellin, would you just give this a chance? You haven't even started school yet, it can't be that terrible.' It was going to be terrible, maybe not as much as Kellin was making it out to be; but who could blame him? His mother, new-found divorcee after leaving a deadbeat husband decided the greatest way to restart was moving from the wonderful city of New York right into the hot-as-balls suburbs of San Diego. All for some stupid desk job too.
Kellin could feel the tension in the car grow thicker as time went on. His mother steadily growing more irritated at her son's attitude. It wasn't really fair to act like this, he knew that she needed this start and it wasn't like he was leaving any friends or love interests behind. He offered up a simple 'we'll make the most of it' which seemed to settle her and continued looking out the window. Its only one year, Kellin thought to himself, what's the worst that could happen?
