My eyes fixate on the mirror, watching as the makeup artist converts my face into something more. My gaze drifts onto the two girls on my bed, Iris and Liv, although liv isn't exactly related to us by blood, we all still take her like another cousin. I watch as their attention remains on the Tv that's displaying moana  before looking onto my dress.

The sparkles and gems reflecting off the mirror, the trail so long accompanied by the off shoulder cut that blends seamlessly on the mannequin, it's just perfect. My after party dress is a mini version of it, perfect for my dance with drapes at the bottom which will look appealing to the eye when I turn.

The door of the suite opens followed by my mom, aunt Aria and aunt Jade who are all dressed up so elegantly. They drop a few gifts on the Center table in the living room before walking in more to glance at me.

"Mia Cara you look like a princess!" My mom hugs me, gently enough to not smudge my makeup.

"What are you saying Isis, she is a princess" Aria snorts as she adjusts the dress on the mannequin, I think she loves it more than me.

"I remember when I used to babysit you all the time and look at you now, you have grown into a beautiful woman and I'm so proud of you baby" Aunt Jade says as she pats my hair gently, a tear slips from her eye before she wipes it off immediately as to not ruin her makeup
