Songs-
Star shopping- lil peep
Never felt so alone- labrinth

so I actually flipped the two of the songs, if you use them listen to never felt so alone first, both songs are the same length but never felt so alone matches better with the beginning.
Enjoy!!!

I couldn't sleep.
Honestly I would consider myself lucky if I got two hours maybe three.

Since the night of the phone call in Italy this is what it's been like and it was brutal. I talked again to Lando last night and he told me that I just had to watch Qualifying because he had a good feeling.

I knew that this was a problem I was going to have to face sooner or later, but I'm perfectly fine pushing it back to the end of the month.

But currently I was outside on my balcony with a cup of coffee in one hand and my phone in the other.

I was just on instagram doing some light stalking, I was looking at pictures of João and his ex at a wedding recently and with every picture I swiped through I gave myself more of a reason to not text.

Suddenly a FaceTime call came through and it was from Lizzie.

I quickly stood up and turned on the balcony light because the lights from all the nightclub and just the lights from the port had been enough for me to sit comfortably.

"Hey what's up?" I ask quietly as I answer the phone

"Should I be asking you? It is 9:00 here and I've been on instagram for two hours. And so have you. The only difference is that it's 9:00 here and 3 in the morning there. So what's up?" She asks

"How do you know I've been on here for two hours." I ask

"It shows active status and yours has been green for two hours." She states

"Fine, I can't sleep. I haven't been able to sleep well since the phone call." I sigh and prop my phone up on the table against my mug

"What type of I can't sleep are we talking?"she asks

"Like I'm lucky to get three hours type of sleep" i say

"All of this for what? A shitty guy? Maggie listen to me. You are so much better than what you allow yourself to be treated like and it's so not okay. If your father was here, you know for a fact he wouldn't let you treat yourself this way. So please please please, for the love of god. Respect the fact that you deserve better, and go a step past respect and embrace it." She says

"I know, i just thought it was different. It was different." I say

"It was different until it wasn't. Just make a change okay? If it requires not finding someone that's what it's gonna take, but if you want to find someone, find somebody who's willing to wait for you forever. Or someone who would kill for you. If that's not an obvious trait move on." She says

"Okay." I say

"Now get some sleep, and come morning embrace the change." She says softly and I nod

"Alright, goodnight Lizzie, love you." I say

"Love you too." She says and hangs up

"I close the instagram tab and set the phone down on the table and look out at the city for a few seconds before I get and idea.

I quickly go inside putting my mug in the sink and going to my bedroom and searching something on my laptop.

Noting the search i write a number down on a piece of paper and close my laptop putting it down carefully on the floor next to my bed and get under the blanket, I turn in a movie I could easily fall asleep to and relax my mind.
