" Hey there my friend" I say welcoming mason into my apartment with a hug
"Hey how are you?" He asks as I shrug
"I'm making it." I smile slightly and close the door after hin
"Are you trying to make your way back into footballer fits?" I joke pointing at his outfit
"Yeah I'm tired of only seeing Jules Kounde, like he's got great outfits but I feel like I can give him a run for his money." He says as I shake my head
"I doubt it but this isn't too shabby" I laugh and return to my kitchen island
"The flowers are nice" he says walking in after me
"What flowers?" I ask as he points to the table next to the couch
"What the hell" I mumble walking over and picking up the vase and spinning them around looking for a note
Shit.
I shove the note into my sweatpants pockets and bring the flowers into the kitchen and place them on the island and sit down next to him
"Are you just getting up?" He asks as I nod
"What gave it away?" I chuckle
"Well for one thing you forgot you had flowers in your apartment, and your shirt is inside out" he says as I groan
"You can be on footballer fits with this outfit" he joked as I laugh
"It's only 9, and I don't have to be there until 10:30 so we have a good hour and a half. But trim it down to incorporate my shower and stuff." I say
"What are you going to wear?" He asks as I shrug
"I'm thinking of wearing this floral layered dress with like white sandals, I don't know though" I say as he nods
"Well I feel the need to ask, are you going to talk to Joao next weekend"He asks
"I intend to, I don't want to explain why I haven't been texting over text, it's just not how I am" I say as he nods
"Don't tell him o told you but yesterday, we were all together before the game playing fifa. And when Christian got the call from you João saw your name light up on the screen, and then he left kind of abruptly and João started asking about you." He says
"I just feel bad, like I know he cares, I care too but his priorities should be with his girlfriend." I defend
"Maggie, João and Maugi Broke up. Like 100% done, she left London last week after they decided and that was it." He says as I sigh
"I'm not saying reach out, but definitely keep that in mind for your talk with him next week." He says as I nod
" I'm going to go shower now, do you need anything before I go?" I ask as he shakes his head
"I'll be here" he says as I nod and stand up walking down the hall to my room and walk to the bathroom
I quickly shower and leave my hair untouched because I don't want to blow dry it again. Once I finish that I get out and change into the outfit I was planning on wearing, place the note in the purse I wanted to wear and walk back out to mason still sitting on his phone at the kitchen
"That didn't take nearly as long as I assumed it would" he says as I laugh
"Yeah I didn't wash my hair so it trimmed of like 10 minutes of my shower" I say taking my hair out of the braids they were in and running my fingers through the waves
"What's the date?" I ask him
"The 28th" he says as I look down to my phone
"Okay thanks" I say and walk towards the living room and grab my planner
"What's going on today?" He asks
"Uh nothing, my dad's birthday is tomorrow then my moms is the 31st so I just wanted to see what I'd be doing on those days" I say as he nods
"Are you alright?" He asks as I nod
"Yeah, do you want to watch the psg game? I'm pretty sure it's on" I ask
"Yeah, what time are we going to go?" He asks
"It's 9:30 so I say as long as we leave by ten we'll be there on time" i say as he nods
"Okay. By the way thanks for having me over." He says
"Anytime, we're friends." I say as he nods

"Hey okay so, garage tour is up, so is the bottle flip thing, and we are editing the pre race interview now" Samantha says to me and Taryn as we walk through the paddock to the Ferrari garage.
"That's all we need for the weekend?" I ask
"Yeah, unless Charles wins. Then they have the prince of Monaco thing." Samantha adds
"Okay, if alll the schedules media projects are done I think we are good." Taryn says as we reach the garage and I see Charles, and yet again, on his side of the garage is the same girl.
I roll my eyes and turn to see Charles looking at me with confusion clear in his eyes.
"We are all done for th day correct?" I ask Taryn
"Yeah go explore if you want" she says as I nod
"I'll see you all after the race" I say and walk out of the garage
As I'm walking up the pit lane I feel a tap on my shoulder and I spin around to see Charles standing behind me.
"How can I help you Charles?" I ask in my most professional tone
"Can we talk?" He asks
"We don't have anything work related to speak about, And I'm done for the day" I say
"Don't ice me out, please just talk to Me" he says
"Do you have a media problem?" I ask
"No?" He questions
"Then I can't help you, I'm sorry, but good luck today Charles." I say and turn back around and walk back up the pit lane
I continue to walk until I reach mclaren and immediately spot Lando.
"Oh thank heaven." I say upon seeing him
"Magnolia what's up?" He asks
"If I tell you something, then ask you a few questions... could you promise not to tell anyone?" I ask as he nods
"Of course, let's just go up to my driver room." He says as I nod
