He understood that neither Alexandra nor Gabriel had that much time to chat with him about such matters.

He only left them an address so they could go and meet him right after the concert along with Nathaniel.

“Who on Earth was that guy!?” Expressed the Bloodwood brother while holding the small piece of paper with the address on it. “I honestly wanted to break the coat stand in half and drive it through his heart!”

“I have an idea,” murmured the sister, sceptically. “But it's preposterous.”

He listened to his brother and Parabatai starting their last song together and crossed his arms. “Do tell. We have less than four minutes left.”

She stood up and began pacing. “Elijah had told me that many, many years ago, there was a boy that Klaus had taken in–”

“As what? As his son!?” He disrupted her, in shock.

“Yes,” she answered and continued, “A son who he called ‘Marcellus’.” She looked up at him, noticing the suspicion on his face. “The Originals were already here when it happened.”

“By ‘here’, you mean ‘New Orleans’?” He notched a sceptical brow.

“Yes,” she sighed with a nod. “Although, Elijah told me that Marcellus had a dreadful death...”

“Yes...?” He pressed.

“What if he didn't?”

They were looking at each other for some seconds until Gabriel stood up and finished his water.

“We will find out,” stated the older sibling. “Right after we finish our concert. Now, we must go.”

Elijah had secluded himself in his bedroom, his phone glued to his ear as he still attempted to reach his soulmate.

His mother's return was something he had to inform her about before he explained himself for not telling her of his relationship with her ancestors.

He was growing more and more concerned when she wasn't answering; was it due to her being occupied or due to the fact that she didn't wish to speak with him?

There was a knock on the door that made him disconnect the unresponsive line with a heavy sigh. “Come in.”

Rebekah entered and closed the door behind her to provide them some privacy.

“Anything?”

“No,” he shook his head and faced her when she came to sit beside him, on his bed. “What about you? Did you find Gabriel?”

“No,” exhaled the blonde. “I've called him like forty times! He hasn't answered.” That seemed to bring her brother some peace, considering it wasn't only Alexandra who wasn't answering. “They're totally in the middle of a rehearsal, brother. Their concert is in two hours from now. Otherwise, they have no reason to not answer our calls.”

“Alexandra has,” the elder Original faced down, twirling his phone in his hand.

“Why, because you didn't tell her about Angelique and Collette?” Toned the female, softly and he nodded. “Elijah, Alexandra is a grown woman, she wouldn't play with you like this. Especially when she's going to see you right when she returns from New Orleans.” She pulled her phone out and went to find her contact. “And to prove myself to you, I'm gonna call her and see if she answers my call.”
