No matter how many times Lucena saw snow covering the ground of Camp Half-Blood, she couldn't get over how beautiful it looked. Of course, the camp had the ultimate magical climate control so it didn't snow a lot, it was, more often than not, sunny and warm with gentle summer breezes, but on occasion- when camp director Mr. D and Chiron got tired of her nagging- she'd get a beautiful white Christmas day full of snowball fights and snowman-making. The snowball fights were usually only between her cabin and the Ares kids, but she didn't mind, she loved it all the same.

The snow fell gently, frost covered the chariot track and the strawberry field. The cabins were decorated with tiny flickering lights, like Christmas lights, except they seemed to be made out of real fire. More lights glowed from the woods, and, weirdest of all, a fire flickered in the attic window of the Big House, where the Oracle dwelt, imprisoned in a mummified body.

"Woah," Nico said as he climbed out of the bus. "Is that a climbing wall?"

"Yeah," Percy said while Lucena nodded.

"Why is there lava pouring down it?"

She shrugged, "Little extra challenge, plus it makes it more fun. Come on, I'll introduce you to Chiron."
