Admittedly, it took Lucena a bit longer to find the others than she had hoped for (why didn't she shadow travel? Great question- no answer) and when she finally did find them, it was nothing short of chaotic. Thalia and Grover were fearlessly fighting Dr Thorn while Percy and Annabeth protected the di Angelo siblings.

Lucena slowly crept forward, making sure she wasn't seen and clicked the tiny button on the head of her snake bracelet. The silver snake seemed to melt down her wrist, quickly changing from silver to a jet black color as it reshaped itself from a weirdly melted mist into a solid blade a little more than half a meter long. She twirled it in her hand and called upon the shadows and they surrounded her in a grey hue, she sunk into them and then reappeared behind Dr Thorn only a second later and swung her blade.

She managed to give the monster a rather deep wound on his back, but just before she could slash at him again, he swung his tail and struck her right in the stomach. She flew back and landed next to the new demigods and two of her friends who gave her worried looks.

"I'm good!" Lucena said with a grin before they could even ask.

She heard a yelp and Grover landed right next to her just as the monster roared, "Yield!"
