The couple sat on the couch at home, Alex was strumming his guitar softly as he played an unfamiliar tune. Zack looked at his boyfriend quietly. Zack looked over the top of the book he was reading a small smile tugged at his face, listening as he sang softly. His voice filled the room.

Alex noticed Zack watching "I see you peeping sexy," Alex said "You okay?" Alex questioned.

"Can't I admire my sexy boyfriend in peace?" Zack asked as he went back to reading flipping the page quietly.

As Alex continued to play, Zack couldn't help but feel a warmth spread through him, both from the music and from the affectionate gaze of his partner. The soft glow of the lamp illuminated the room, casting gentle shadows across their faces.

"You're making it hard to concentrate on my book," Zack teased, his eyes twinkling with fondness.

"Maybe you should put it down then," Alex suggested with a playful grin, his fingers dancing over the guitar strings.

Zack chuckled softly, setting his book aside and leaning back against the cushions. "Alright, you win. Keep playing," he said, closing his eyes to immerse himself in the melody fully.

As the music enveloped them, Alex's voice intertwined with the gentle strumming of the guitar, creating a tranquil moment of harmony between them. In that quiet living room, filled with nothing but the music and their love, they found solace in each other's presence, cherishing the simple yet profound moments they shared.

As Alex played softly, the couple both sang familiar lyrics to 'This Is How You Remind Me'

Just as Alex and Zack were lost in the blissful serenade they were sharing, the ringing of the phone shattered the tranquility of the moment. Zack's brow furrowed in annoyance as he reluctantly reached for the phone, a hint of frustration evident in his movements.

"Who could be calling at this hour?" Zack muttered, glancing at the caller ID before hesitantly answering the call.

As he brought the phone to his ear, Zack's expression transformed from irritation to disbelief. His eyes widened in astonishment, and he exchanged a bewildered glance with Alex, who had paused his playing to watch Zack's reaction.

"Hello?" Zack said tentatively, his voice laced with uncertainty.

The voice on the other end of the line delivered news that seemed almost too good to be true. As the words sank in, Zack's disbelief gave way to unbridled joy, a radiant smile spreading across his face. Alex leaned in closer, his eyes widening with anticipation as he listened intently to the conversation.

"Are you serious?" Zack exclaimed, his voice tinged with excitement. "That's incredible!"

Alex's heart raced with anticipation, sensing that something significant was unfolding. He watched Zack's animated expression, unable to contain his own curiosity.

After what felt like an eternity, Zack finally hung up the phone, his hands trembling slightly with exhilaration. He turned to Alex, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

"We got it, Alex!" Zack exclaimed, unable to contain his joy any longer. "We've been accepted for the house!"

A wave of elation washed over them both as the reality of their accomplishment sank in. In that moment, the interruption of their song was forgotten, replaced by the overwhelming happiness of knowing that their dream of a new home was about to become a reality. With tears of joy welling in their eyes, they embraced each other tightly, knowing that their future together was brighter than ever before.

"We got it?! We- you-We have our own house?! W-we're going to own our house?!" Alex exclaimed standing up as he cheered pulling Zack up and hugging him tightly.

Zack let out a laugh as he lifted Alex up in the air kissing his soft lips passionately. "Do we-Do we tell people now? Or should we get the keys first and tell people?" he asked against Alex's lips.

"Keys first" he whispered "This works out perfectly, we can go to the house and decorate while still living here," Alex exclaimed.

After two long secretive months, Alex and Zack had finally moved into their forever home, endless nights, all nighters over the weekend, every spare minute was spent decorating the house both together and separately, the cost of the decorations came well over five thousand dollars, they did some home renovations, Zack's personal favourite was the change in the master bedroom, they extended the bathroom a little bit, putting 'Mr and Mrs sinks in the bathroom, so there were no more arguments over who washed first, they changed the bathtub to a large deep tub that could fit them both comfortably, perfect for romantic dates nights.

Alex looked at his phone shooting Rian a text "We have something we want to show you, meet us at our usual place" Alex re-read the text before sending a similar text to his parents. The couple decided that it would be easier and better to show them their achievements together.

With butterflies in their stomachs, Alex and Zack met Rian Jack and Alex's parents, at their usual hangout spot, a quaint café nestled in the heart of their neighborhood. They greeted each other with warm hugs and excited smiles, barely able to contain their excitement.

"So, what's the big surprise?" Rian asked, curiosity gleaming in his eyes.

Alex and Zack exchanged a glance, their hearts pounding with anticipation. With a shared nod, they led all of them outside to where they had all parked their cars "if you could all get in your cars and follow us" Alex said nodding to the cars.

As they approached the driveway of their new home, Alex couldn't help but feel a surge of pride and joy, parking outside the house, Zack grabbed the key from the dashboard stepping out of the car Alex also stepping out, motioning for the four to get out

"Ta-da!" Zack exclaimed, gesturing towards the house with a grin as he stepped towards the house, unlocking the door with the key

Rian's eyes widened in disbelief as he took in the sight before him. "You guys bought a house?!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with awe.

Alex nodded, a wide smile stretching across his face. "Yep, our very own slice of paradise," he said, his voice tinged with excitement.

Rian enveloped them both in a tight hug, overcome with emotion. "I'm so happy for you guys," he said, his voice choked with emotion. "This is amazing."

The group spent the afternoon exploring every nook and cranny of the house, marveling at the love and dedication Alex and Zack had poured into making it their own. From the cozy living room to the spacious kitchen, every corner reflected their personalities and shared memories.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over their new home, Alex and Zack couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over them. This house wasn't just a place to live—it was a symbol of their love and commitment to each other, a sanctuary where they could build a lifetime of memories together.

And as they stood hand in hand outside, Alex's mother took a photo of the couple sharing a romantic kiss outside the house, each saying there farewells to the happy couples.

As Jack and Rian approach their shared car Jack looked at Rian "I want that babe" He said softly

"We will in the future, but for now we have our first child Bella we need to attend to"
